So I was at a halloween party but I didn't get a chance to get a good costume for it. I went in with a group of friends including a few cute girls that are good friends of mine that I use for pre-selection when necessary (they don't know that, though).

My friend Joe who is essentially a big AMOG-looking guy (who also acts like it) had a few girls that he knew coming to the party. He gave me his shitty version of an accomplishment intro when I met the girls, saying "This is my good friend Mike. Look at how attractive he looks tonight!"

I smiled and shook their hands confidently, throwing in a sweaty hand neg, which was actually completely true. They laughed a bit and my friend Joe walked away. I immediately went into the best friends test, to which they laughed and looked at each other hysterically. At the end of it I threw in the "you look like the bad one and you look like the good one" line which seemed incredibly appropriate considering that one was dressed like a cop and the other like a prisoner. Both girls were about HB8's in my opinion.

They responded positively to it and hinted that they were actually both "the bad one." I leaned back against the wall and one of them began to grind up on me with the music. I said "hey now don't get any funny ideas" in a very playful tone. I talked casually and frequently left the group to talk to others that I knew nearby. They never questioned my lack of a costume.

I danced with one of the girls for a little while, but I never really qualified her, so she stopped showing interest after a while. Her friend was asking me any questions she could think of by the end of the night though and was making excuses not to drive home, despite not being drunk at all. She asked me about a necklace that I was wearing. I told her that my girlfriend bought it for me. She then immediately asked me if I still had a girlfriend, to which I simply responded "nope" and then smiled slightly. I could not take things further with them because one of them did not bring an ID with her, which she would need in order to get into my building. (College dorm requiring an ID. I tried to convince the desk attendant to make an exception but it didn't work.)

I feel like I kinda lost my energy in the interaction after a while, right around the time that I think I should have been working on qualifying the target girl. Her friend was showing me a lot more interest than my target was for some reason, even though she was the one that was dancing with me. I never isolated my target because my friend Joe was off somewhere having a bit of a bad night. Both girls were pretty much glued to me the whole night though, paying little attention to any other guys that tried to enter the set (most of which were very pathetic AFC attempts). Thinking back on it I regret not pointing out the pathetic attempts to the girls. I moved them around a decent amount but there were a few times when they were reluctant to follow me, saying that their feet hurt or something. When that would happen I would leave for a bit anyways like I said I was going to and then come back to them. Any ideas on some other things I could have done to make this go a bit more smooth?
