Met an awesome girl last night, I was cool and confident, felt really in my element. We talked loads, danced, laughed, made out and just had a lot of fun in the club. Anyway, this is the stage where I usually fuck up - the first text, I don't want to come across needy. I stayed away from texting her the same night, and I'm going to wait to like 8pm tonight after she finishes work to talk to her, but I have no idea how to go about it. Should I be relaxed or direct? I usually make jokes asking whether a girl remembers me (she was pretty drunk). A few examples would be an awesome help, cheers guys

You were both having fun and seemed comfortable with each other the night before so why not carry on where you left off. Something like 'what kinda mischief have been getting upto today then?' would be fine as it's casual and light hearted.
I personally wouldn't ask if they remember me or go direct on the first text.
