This was before we started officially dating. I casually mentioned that I had been studying pickup and seduction for a good number of years.
Now, most women react to such a "confession" by either freaking out or becoming very interested and curious. How did my girlfriend react? She just said "OK" with an uninterested and unemotional expression as if I had just told her that I had eggs for breakfast.
I was a surprised at her reaction. Any girl I told this to in the past had very strong reactions and asked me many questions about my status as a so-called pickup artist. I didn't think too much of her unusually casual response at the time.
Later, I had a brief conversation with her about this. I was commenting how I thought it was weird how she reacted so casually and didn't seem to care at all about my PUA stuff. I made an analogy saying that if someone told his girlfriend, "I am an alien," the girlfriend would most likely freak out and ask many questions: "WHAT??"
"HOW DID YOU GET HERE?"
"WHAT IS YOUR PLANET LIKE?"
"OMG I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!"
...and so on and so forth.
My girlfriend said, "If I were that alien, I would be very sad."
"Why?" I asked.
"Because the alien's girlfriend is just interested in his background; she is not interested in the alien just as he is now."

I did tell a girl I was dating that I was a PUA too... She asked me what that was and then cut me short before I was done explaining to ask me if I wanted to have a Pizza or Kebab for dinner...
That was how much it mattered to her. _________________ I'm not trying to be a dick Ezo, but you're being a Pick Up Snob in my opinion.

I find it quite irrelevant when with my gf. Thats just me though _________________ I have taken more out of alcohol than alcohol has taken out of me. ~Winston Churchill
