I've been increasing my social circle quite a bit recently, about five or so people a month. I always wondered how to increase my social proof, and the other night I realized I have it. I can go just about anywhere in the town I live in and there's at least one person I know and talk to on occasion. I went bowling a couple fridays ago and realized I knew more than half the people there. I couldn't move ten feet without someone wanting to talk to me. It's wierd how this worked out, but it did.

that is cool, im in the process of doing the same, ive realized that now that im single(was in a 2 yr LTR) that when i was in my LTR i didnt really meet anyone or go out much, there wasnt any need to at the time, but now im in the process of creating a whole new social circle.

my grandfather who is 96 btw always says "be nice to everyone cause you never know when they might come in handy"

its all about who you know, in one word "networking"

also respond to my pm when you get the chance, i could use your advice on one of my "targets"

I think this is one of the most important parts of pickup. If you don't know anyone you can't impress babes through others. I tend to find that though I'm not close to any of these people, and unfortunately becoming less close to the people who I was close to, due to the demand on my time. Though there are problems in this, I'm happier with the pro con ratio I'm now dealing with. It's the same thing with my relationships with women, I would be ecstatic if I could do the whole I Love You thing for a year or so, but then I'd need to lower my social circle due to my time being taken away. I'm a person who likes to keep to myself most of the time, people getting too close has always caused me problems.
