Give her nickname while opener (You can use some funny negs like"Your eyes are almost as big as frog eyes"- with smile on your face of course , or just a creative nickname) While You savin' her number type her name and add some nickname and let her know about it.
Last time I had a girl who I typed "Ann nice smile", or "Agnes frog" and next day or 2 days after You meet her , just txt her how is going you little "nickname" . It works for me, but You can try as well

love the idea of nicknames! but only been successful with it with one girl who said to me during the first night i picked her up, "can i be your sugar muffin?" all funny and cute. and have used it twice in texts.

Nicknames are good, but you should probably stay clear of insults (Frog eyes) and corny ones (Babycakes etc.). They may work on some, but as a general rule, keep it fun and playful. Something she can relate to and smile when she reads it in a text.

Nicknames can stem from anywhere. Something they're wearing, something they said, whatever.
