Hey guys

I met this girl in school last week. She's really hot (an HB8 probably) too. I'm new to this college and she sat next to me. She initiated the chat and was really nice and friendly and all. She even offered me her notes for classes I can't attend.

The thing is though, we've only talked very briefly because we were in class (and 5 minutes during the walk to a different classroom), and she clearly showed interest in me by asking questions etc...

Despite the lack of interaction I've succeeded in showing a sense of humor I think, but still there was a lack of attraction. It wasn't very playful or something, because she was so nice to me

My problem is, what should I do now? She basically gave me the opportunity to show my personality (and I would love to, because this one's really intelligent and I reckon she's looking for personality).

Should I:

1) try to build some more attraction by being playful? Won't that give her the impression that I have no personality because I keep fooling around?

2) continue to build comfort? Because there isn't any attraction yet, I'm afraid I'll end up in the LJBF-zone.

I've been breaking my head on this one. Me feeling is I should build attraction first... but I kinda have the feeling it would be too artificial, because she already made us building comfort...

Firstly kudos on the good work so far.

My advice is DO NOT allow yourself to fall into the LJBF zone, that is a killer. I hate it.

As a bona fide PUA, your intentions should be clear, and you shouldn't be ashamed or afraid of displaying them.

A line I almost ALWAYS use in such a situation is something like 'girls know who they are dealing with when they are talking to me', with a cheeky grin on my face. It communicates so many good things. That can undo hours of damage that would ordinarily lead to the LJBF zone.

Normally I do a pretty good job with girls. I'm confident, fluent, breezy, fun and attractive most of the times. That is, if I'm in the ordinary PUA-habitat, being nightclubs and bars where girls go to have fun.

This specific interaction had a totally different scenery, and that's why I wasn't really able to get the spark.

So generally, I'm not really afraid of ending up in the LJBF-zone. I'm just not sure of how to continue this half-baked pick-up. We basically moved straight from A1 (she opened) to C1. Classic mistake, but it wasn't really appropriate and possible to go to A2 and A3.

Oh yeah, and my intention isn't to land this girl in bed and dump her afterward. She's in my class, and she seems pretty cool and smart.

I think I'm gonna try and go out with her (or at least meet her in a different environment), and go back to the A2 and A3-level before building comfort.

Actually, I forgot to mention this in my first post, she asked me to join her that night to a party. Unfortunately I had already made plans for another party(although that kinda shows some value).
