hey guys
theres this girl HB7,8 i had a really short "thing" with back in HS grade with but it fell off real quick. im in 2nd year of college now and she went away to another college but suddenly i saw her at the gym.

she was with her friend so i say
" hey ! " as i am approaching the sauna
she responds back with "hi " and a smile and i ask her "didnt u go away to ''so and so place'' "
and she sed yea but im back now.. i go in the sauna she comes in also with her friend + an older lady minutes later. there were other ppl inside and i didnt initiate any chat with her mostly because i was shy and i think her mother was with her also..

few days later i see her again at the gym and while i am entering, i see her and she seems glad to meet me so i took that as a small IOI. i asked what she was doing at the front desk and she sed she had something she owned stuck in the machines so she wanted someone to get it.

now i completely didnt realize that i could take advantage of this moment to help her out wit whatever was stuck but i just kept doing my thing. i ran into her again and had a short convo which sucked. i totally afc'd i couldnt think of anything interesting to say. just asking questions...

i met my friend and started working out. we made a little Eye contact.. then ended up working out in close proximity to her and her friend. so after a set i go up and talk to them. this is how it goes

me : hey u found that thing yet?
her: yea i got it out
me: well i figured if we keep coming in the same time of day to the gym i guess im guna have to start talking to u guys.
her : i dont have membership i only have a 24 day pass
me: really whered u get that
her: balbalblablabalba
me: whos your friend? *i look at friend smile
friend: hi smiles im ____
me: (this is where i feel like i go AFC) so 24 days huh? you guys should get membership its a nice gym (its a really nice gym) i would .

i was body rocking at this point and then started to head out. continued the work out. then she left and called out to me and sed "bye (my name) ! "
it was very cheerful but i dont know if its a sign of interest or if i just telegraphed pure afc so she is saying it in a tone where im just a friend.

i know i will run into her again at the gym. i dont know what would i be able to do to escalate. i dont even know what to say . im stuck. judging from this , whats my situation? she will be with her friend most likely.
