Hey guys,

I've been at the game for about a year now and at this point in my journey I have run into a sticking point relating to the gear I use when I'm out sarging/gaming/etc. I wear bracelets, a necklace, an anklet, and a ring.

I believe that all of these accoutrements add an dimension of charisma to my character. However, I've received feedback from some ladies that these things tend to set off a "gay vibe."

While I realize that plenty of men perceived as gay by women still undoubtedly garner an allure and attraction from women, I'd prefer to be able to attract women in a classical way as well-- by means of unmistakable masculinity.

Can anyone give advice on how I might telegraph this type of masculinity? I am looking for SPECIFIC examples of certified markers of an AlphaMale.

thanks,
Jackson Coltraine

Hey Jackson,

I've been around for also about a year. Wearing peacocking items really work, if you can pull it off, I love it :D To be honest it's kind of hard to discuss what works on you, without any pictures of you or the items. I can advise you anyhow, to look at the website of pua-gear (just search in google) and compare what you already have. Hope this helps a bit.

Esen

P.s. You did realize that it is possible that those women could be testing you?!

Check into some more body language, it is likely to have effected how you are perceived. We can almost always spot a gay man's body language. My question to you is if you video taped yourself and your style what would you think is gay about it.

I mean anklets, a little bit overboard unless you are a hippie with a hemp one. At least I have rarely gone to the pool or beach and have seen men wearing anklets. I wear bracelets all the time, I also wear necklaces all the time. I even wear girly bracelets, I project my masculinity with body language not with jewelry. Most alphas do as well. I don't wear rings but that doesn't mean I haven't seen some folks who can work them. Always keep in mind too much takes away. A few interesting selections of jewelry are better than ridiculous lump sums.

If a girl says you set off a "gay vibe" tell her it is because you prefer to be non-threatening and that you are comfortable having style. After all we all know gay men seem to get the most credit for male attire.

If you want specific examples you should post your picture(s) and let us critique it. Alphas tend to show more masculinity with their body language, if you want to know more about that read the thread "being the man" or "body language" both have some info about it. I don't want to post the same info to the same question every time. There are two threads you can learn a massive amount of knowledge from. If you have questions after reading both those threads post them and I will answer your question.

Thanks guys,

I appreciate the "no-bullshit" approach to the post-- very straightforward! Although I'm not completely new to The Game, I am brand new to the forums-- so thanks for helping me with those two threads-- they are indeed very helpful!

If it can help, I may also post pics for critique later on. We'll see how things go after a little more field testing.

Lower the number of these items you mentioned to the minimum, what these girls say are truth. How about removing the anklet (definitely!) and the ring? These two are the least masculine items from your list.
