So reading through this thread, there seems to be a great misconception as to what is AFC and what is not... Don't let their lyrics fool you, Frank Sinatra and Barry White are two of the biggest players of the last century. If you ever get to their status, you can write whatever lyrics you want to and still get laid .

Death Cab for Cutie, however, is not Sinatra or Barry White. I happen to have them on my play list. Although I'm not ashamed to admit it, I will never take their emo lyrics to heart when it comes to dating.
