I recently started working with this girl(A), she is 18 and I am 20.

First few weeks she clearly was into me flirting going back and forth between the two of us.

Eye contact, smiling at each other, taking her break with me while i'm still working instead of the break room.

She said things like, you look like an ex- his name was X but your name is Y so it's ok.

About a week or two into it I overheard that she had a boy friend named Z, we happen to have a guy named Z that works with us. I at first thought no way in hell this girl an 8/9 is going out with Z (Not to be mean but I thought he had down syndrome) ugly dude.

She doesn't know that I know she has a boy friend we flirt every time we work together, we closed together one night and I was done with my stuff and she still had to put stock back on the shelves she asked me to walk with her. I made the joke that we are reverse shopping saying things like "I don't think we want this", she say "I don't think I want this either honey" joking like we were a couple.

I haven't had a phone for more than a year, I finally bought a new one about 4 or 5 weeks into working here. The next time we worked together I told her I got a new phone you should give me your number (she had basically already took the phone from me and put it in as I was asking).

She texted me everyday, I would wake up to her texts from school she is a senior.

So I eventually said we should hang out some time (I wasn't asking her out on a date)

I had previously stated how much I hate texting and would rather talk face to face.

One night at work this other girl(b) I work with is talking about a Halloween party, the girl(A) im into asks her if I can come girl(b) says that she doesn't know me very well and all this other BS.

I say "Oh i'm not cool enough to come to your party" (jokingly) they both start feeling bad they talk for awhile while I finish my work. After they get done talking girl(A) says she has to tell me something, well she chickens out and doesn't tell me. Tells me she will text me, she doesn't and she stops texting me for awhile.

Eventually we work the same shift again and she can tell I am annoyed, she text me while at work "Wats bothering yooh", I eventually just tell her straight up that I know what she wanted to tell me, she begs me to tell her because it might not be what I think she really is thinking (aka that she doesn't like me). I tell her I know she has a bf and ask if it's the guy I think it is. Turns out I was right, she texts back

"not for long hes really childish and doesn't notice that i'm here"

I text back "Is that what you wanted to tell me"

She "yes I wanted to ask too if that was a good reason to end it with him"

me "If he doesn't make you happy"

She "I mean I dont want to be an ass about it"

me "You have to look out for yourself"

She "Yea you right"

We were texting each other while working with each other for some strange reason lol.

I thought for sure I was in especially with the whole ending it with the BF.

I text her the next day about joking about the party and that I might go to a different party.
She text me that she doesn't feel like going to that party and more, I text her don't not go just because of me
