I'm in my 4th year of college (UC Berkeley) and I feel like I should be meeting a ton of people, but I'm not.

Once in a while I meet someone at a party, or at the dining commons. Maybe a group of people. We might exchange names, we might exchange facebooks. Then, nothing happens. We become fake facebook friends. One girl gave me a fake facebook name... twice.

I live in an apartment with lots of students but the environment is not social at all like it is in the halls. All the doors are always closed. Knocking on doors is intrusive unless you're doing some very specific call to action like asking for actresses to star in a music video (which I did) and even that had a success rate of 0%.

Clubs... I don't know which clubs to join... it seems like they are all made of asian people. I don't have much luck with asian girls because I'm asian and they go for the white dudes, and I'd rather be hitting on the white girls because they are usually hotter anyways.

I dated a girl for a year that is now at UC Berkley, she say's it's not the normal uni environment, super focused super disciplined, my suggestion is to start with a good situational banter, don't let the energy die, instead of using facebook, get phone numbers, people tend to check the computer when ever, if you call or text you have them when you choose, with Karen (now at Berkley... cute Italian girl...stay away from her lol) she was with her friend when we met and after a few min of chattin' with her I knew I had to have her. make things fun, do things out of the ordinary, don't talk school or work, dream with them and create a little bit of a new world. that paired with the normal rules of the game and you should do fine.
