ok small backstory before i ask my question

I met this girl like 3 years ago pre PUA at my job, we hung out, we made out, never f-closed her ( i had a weird thing not to sleep with girls at my job but ya made out? rite im past that sticking point now) so ya we got really close and i ljbf her because she did have a bf and a kid, about a year ago, she hears bs that i was spreading rumors about her at the job, which i never did, i was actually defending her from some rumors i heard about her. Some guy that liked her over hears that specific conversation and completely flips it on me by telling her i was talking loads of nonsense on her, same day we get into a huge fight and we are no longer friends. Now heres the thing today my homie from work tells me she started talking about me to him, and its not the 1st time she does either, about its too late for us to ever be friends again, typical pissed off girl rants, now my question to you guys is,
Am i wrong thinking she wants me to get ahold of her again when she knowingly says stuff to my best friend when its all gonna get back to me about all she's talking about. And what kinda message should i send her? any opinion helps guys thnx in advance

Why did you even bother reacting to her bullshit?

Just tell her, "No, why would I spread rumors about you?" The idea is absurd, so treat it as such.

I honestly wouldn't message her, just next time you see her treat her like an old friend, and game from there.
