I've been in New York City for a year since graduating from college. I've long been frustrated that as far as I can see I am extremely qualified as a potential boyfriend, but I can't pick up girls whatsoever.

Based on reading a little bit of the PUA literature, I think my two biggest problems are that I'm too passive and compliant with girls, and I am too shy about physical contact.

I am very busy working a full time job and also initiating a startup on the side, being the organizer for a lot of my social group's activities, and still squeezing in enough leisure time and sleep to keep myself from going crazy. But I'd be happy to hang out with any other dudes here that are in the NYC area, especially guys with similar music interests.
