i'm going through some transitioners i like and it seem that i'm directing it at my target i.e

PUA“Hey, you know what?”
HB(She responds.)
PUA“My ex used to always say everyone’s got a body double in the world, like a perfect unrelated twin version of themselves. Well, you totally remind me of a friend of mine I met while travelling Australia. This girl is like your doppelganger. Her name’s Kate but we all call her Cat. In fact, I’m calling you Cat all night.”
HB(She laughs and/or says something.)
PUA“Cat is one of the most fun and interesting people you’ll ever meet – I mean this girl was pretty, sure, but she had an amazing personality too. Tell me two interesting things about yourself.”

so do i direct the conversation at my target then talk to whole group when saying "cat is one of the most..." or do I just talk to target throughtout whole routine

I guess whenever using an opener you have to think about the response. The key to having a stimulating conversation with somebody is there is an interesting topic involved and the people talking on the subject are both able to express an opinion then gain validation for it from the other person. This in turn will raise further questions to which the 2nd or third party will be interested in.

As much as you dont realise it, your opener was a situational opener. You saw she looked like a friend and commented on it. After she made a short reply you had nowhere to go. Then you went into a female to male DHV by asking her to demonstrate to you 2 positive personality traits.

I think wether you spoke to the whole group or the target it would have been just as bad. I personally alway approach the group at first. And PUA's will always advise to ingnore and neg the target for a bit depending on how hot she is.

Also, try to never use the word EX. It brings up the wrong frameset, either she's thinking break-ups, arguments, cheating etc or she's thinking good things about her own ex (and not you)
