If I have one problem out of all the aspects of PU artistry, it would be that after a good open, I have a terrible time coming up with conversation topics to keep interest!

If the girl is talkative and gives me things to talk about then I'm gold.. and I never have problems closing.

I just get in these awkward situations where everything is going great.. then SILENCE! and then at best, I'll end up saying something "small talkish" and sound like a boring average guy.

Suggestions? Advice? Thanks!

Figure out some basic stories that you have about yourself or that happened to you. These are just things that you can work in anywhere and will have two or three conversation threads. Then you can always create a good conversation out of nothing.

"But how do I start into it?" you ask (Everyone does, relax :) )

Easy, say something like "Oh man, last weekend I.."
or "That reminds me of a while ago..."
or "Are you a pet person? Cause you strike me as someone who..."
or "I like your shoes, those are leather right? I knew this girl one time who wouldn't wear leather shoes...."

There are millions of intro's and none of them seem to forced. Story-telling is pretty much my only real natural talent. I just need to make sure I DON"T follow too many tangents. Little too verbous.

Hope this helps.

Its one thing to tell him he needs to be able to tell a story
but if he doesn't understand HOW make it interesting its no good
He's needs a book like "Juggler Method Conversational Jujitsu"
i highly recommend Juggler Method

Personally I prefer a fellow PUAs advice on making a conversation INTERESTING and one that creates Attraction. There are a billion things to talk about, but if you can't convey attraction its really no use at all.

Any tips on that?

Okay, now this is my disclaimer and is my humble(yeah right) opinion. Alot of people will see it differently. Take what you can use.

When you are to be telling stories you are past the attraction building stage.

Attraction building should be the first 5-10 minutes of the conversation and should contain the following items:

1.Negs
2.C&F
3. Playful banter.

These are things that help build attraction. If she is talking to you after 10 minutes then guys... she is attracted.

Then you go into confort and you use DHV's and rapport building. You can use DHV's in attraction but they are normally a bit slow and low energy for what you want. I like them as a transition to comfort stages.
When your able to sit someone down and start to slow the conversation.

Hope this helps.

Ok I'm getting the idea. I need help with one two things though.
I'm not really used to the C & F bit, perhaps a few examples should clear these up, that would be really nice.

ANd sometimes I feel the negs are a little, rude and mean... puts you off as an asshole. Are these negs alright to be used?
"Hey, nice slippers ya got there, where did your mom get them?"
"Who paints their fingernails black, they were so last season."

Me : "You hair looks ... 'unique' *start smirking*, did you do it yourself?"
Cute gal : No, my mom did it.
Me : "Ah, just as I thought, you can't tie up your own hair, how old are you?"

Well, I'm thinking of using that neg, maybe someone can comment on that and preferably improve it?

C&F is really quite easy. You know how most people are when they are with their friends? Normally, that is C&F (Atleast in my group of friends). You act like your a badass, you have fun, and you don't let things bother you because their opinions of you won't change. That is the same theory except instead of the girl's opinion not changing... it just doesn't matter.

Here are some pretty decent examples I guess.

1. I was talking to this awesome HB8 the other day about DOA (Video game) and I said "No, ya see hun, you don't really have a chance. I'm sure your real good and all but look at your thumbs. You just don't have the sturdiness that is required to become a Masta! Not your fault, bad genetics."

2. I was with this black chick and she mentioned the entire race persecution thing and I said "Waitwaitwait... you don't get to pull the race card. I'm Jewish... if anyone here gets to bitch about ancestors getting persecuted it's me. You have like 300 years of persecution... I have like since the beginning of recorded time."

3. She says "Hey I want some Icecream." You say "How does it feel to want?"

4. She says "Blah blah blah my work sucks, my boss doesn't like me, I have to do paperwork all day blah blah blah.." You say "Oh man, Are you telling me that you don't like your job?!?! I thought I was the only one with that problem!"

Unfortunately, I don't have time right now to think up better examples for you. Just remember, it is all about being playful.

There are different reasons to use negs. One is to remove a bitch shield, where as another is a false disqualifier.

Here is a link that should HELP describe it :

Hey something that got me rolling was real life stories if its a friends steal it and make sure he isnt around what you want to do is with each story show off some thing special wether it be a adventurous personality or a love of hairless dogs you want value! try not to force the story so that it becomes a fairy tale that can be deadly if you slip. seep it in topic you familiar with and get some reading material knowledge about something evena little expressed the right way can make you seem like a master of it.
