I broke up with my g/f about 2 months ago and have been heavy into the PUA life ever since. Since ending the relationship i had been going out very regularly (weekday/weekend) with a good friend of mine who is in his later 20's but acts/looks like he could pass for 22, like me. Along with winging for each other when we go out, we'll occasionally have one or two other guy friends (non-PUA's) come out, but more times than not, we've had a good friend of ours who is a bartender come out with us (call her S). she's VERY good at the game and the three of us are all pretty well versed in the topics so our pick up ability is higher than average. We have had a lot of success sarging with each other over the past month and a half. one night we went to the bar where she works, a regular local hotspot for college students and our bartender (HB9.5+, call her J) was the same girl i generally had serve me, even when i was with the ex. we would flirt/neg each other any time i was at the bar, but in the end i thought nothing of it because of the commonly accepted notion that bartenders are flirty with all guys, for the purpose of tips. well she would converse with me, more than just small talk, and my tab was NEVER even close to being right. ($3 or under every time).

so fast forward to last week, the three of us went out sarging at another bar that had a concert and we started talking about going to her bar, where HB9.5+ works with her.

S: so, i was closing at work the other night with J and your name came up
me: oh is that right
S: yeah, she was asking about the other night when all of us came up to the bar....she asked me "so how do you know tony"
S: so i told her that we were all friends and i knew you from goin out with the group
me: sooooo, how did this come up all of the sudden
S: well she asked if you were still with your g/f cuz she hadn't seen you in there recently, and not with the ex g/f at all.
me: yeah, that's game over....you know all about that
S: i told her that, and she was very pleasantly suprised to hear that
S: she kept going on and on about how hot you were and how it sucked that you two couldn't ever explore anything cuz you had a g/f
me: well, lets get the ball rollin
S: yeah she wants to come and hang out with us
me: see i honestly thought it was nothing more than bartender flirting..
S: no way babe, up there we don't give a damn....and we definately don't just buy drinks for guys to try to get tips cuz we have to pay for them....she's into you, big time

So basically, my friend S is doing some great winging by letting me know about this opportunity. now i'm familiar talking/negging/flirting/etc, but i've never attempted to close a bartender, any advice on this situation?
i don't see it being any different than her bringing any of her other girls out with us, except that we both kinda know each other on a casual first name basis and are both attracted to one another
-Tony

definitely do not come across as needy, or too interested. by this point, you know she is interested, so you can immediately go to the comfort stage. in addition, she does not know how hard you are to get, all she knows is that you were something she could never have because you had a gf. she knows she is hot, she is a bartender, and she was probably hired for her looks. therefore, do not bring looks up what so ever (im sure you know this). definitely demonstrate some IOD's to her, maybe a sniper neg, whipe ur face, pretending she just spat all over you, she will get self conscious and wonder if that impression made you feel less of her. if she interupts you, bust her about it, if she talks too much, say like " ididn't know she poops words" in front of the mutual friend. and keep that mentality that you still have a girlfriend, even though you do not, bc it was your actions and behavior in the first place that made her attracted to you. stay that way. do not give in too soon bc she will drop you if you are too easy. instead, continue to neg her, smaybe a few sniper negs, engage the mutual friend in conversation equally, and if you guys go off on a tangent, the bartender will surely get jealous. there are tons of good stuff online by Mystery about how to pick up/suduce the HBs hired for their looks.. hope this helps. good luck

i was thinkin the same thing, she's made it clear she's interested in me so the ball is in my court because i havn't even done anything but neg/flirt with her while she was working and obv got a different reaction than the hundreds of other dudes that hit on her at work. great tip about acting like i still have a g/f.....i think that humorous cocky attitude she is familiar with is the same i always have, i never put on a front with stuff like that...but i'll remember to not shy away from it!
and do you have the links to mystery's tips about HB's hired for their looks? i'd like to take a look at that.

Are you going to Texas Tech? If so, what bars are worth frequenting in Lubbock these days? I've been tight on money the last couple of months and rarely go anywhere where I can't get 1.25 schooners.

uhmm i think i may have seen it in Mystery Method, i always refer to it, so i'll def let you know when i come across it. i just looked and couldn find it though, but if its in MM then it HAS to be on the internet. there is a term that i do not remember that is used to describe these girls hired for their looks. i'm sure if you post a forum about it, you will get an answer, then just google from there.. -Rye

I got a quick question.

Your bartending pivot friend. Do you think shes that much different to alot of the girls out there (in a sarge perspective, ie. responds to things like negs etc well)?

And wait? What? your target is also a bartender...at the same bar! Noway!

1. If the answer is no then go and sarge her as normal duh!
2. If the answer is yes she is diff. If your pivot is into game, very good at it, and works with her! ASK HER WHAT THINGS TO STAY AWAY FROM AND THINGS TO DO!!!!!!!!

LOL

yeah, S is definately well versed in the game...she'll be 28 tonight and has been a bartender for 5yrs, she's good. she knows damn well that negs work, unlike most girls. so i've been talkin to S about how to approach this situation. she just tells me that i know how to play the game and i'll be fine. i'm not nervous and there's no anxiety, my reason for posting on this situation is that i've never really sarged a hired gun bartender.

and yes, they work at the same bar...generally have different shifts though

S actually looks like me in terms of skin complexion, dark hair, dark eyes....we've been playing a new routine where we are brother/sister. it's works REALLY well
she'll come into a set i've opened on my own and neg them for pulling her little brother away from her and BAM, there's another social proof/ or DHV. or she'll open a set that normally has one HB that she knows from work and i'm in that way also

Hired Guns are fantastic even if you aren't trying to hit on them. Just knowing that I can go into a bar and not order, just have beer show up is nice in my opinion. Chaquito is right though. A pivot that can fill you in on a target is nice to have around. Nothing wrong with doing a little homework.

But yeah, we need to hit up some bars sometime. Like I said things are kind of tight right now so it may be a little while before it happens though. I've never winged before so it may be intresting. Especially since we game two different ways.

Damn all these west Texas types in one place..

My mothers from west Texas... And my daddy was stationed at Reese Air Force Base for a few years in the late '50's (which is where he met my momma). And he did a few semesters at TT.

My grandmother used to live in Levelland (a small crossroads town 30 minutes or so west of Lubbock), and managed the Spot restaurant. Not even sure if it's there anymore. That was in the 1970's.

Heck I can remember flying into Lubbock as kid during the early '70's. Lubbock was wiped out by a huge tornado (F5) back in 1970 that touched down not far from the TT campus. The place was a mess.

Yep there's a piece of me still out there somewhere in those endless sunflower fields of west Texas.

I haven't back into that area since I was a teenager in the mid/late '70's. I bet it's grown up alot, as have I. Yep I still got my boots and my big ol' belt buckle. Heck turn me loose on the TT campus, and those young Texas honeys and you'd probably have to call out the national guard.
