Ok so I have come to understand what a neg is and how it works but the part that is puzzling me is what do you say afterwards so you don't end up with that awkward silence.

For Example

PUA: "Oh you didn't say you were an elf."

HB "I'm not"

Something along the lines of that, Like in some situations I'm sure I can keep the conversation going but whats the best things to say or generally the best thing to do after a neg? Post some examples? Thanks

Fairly new to this, but this is how I would view it...

PUA: "some neg"

HB: Oh my god I can't believe you just said that! (or other standard response)

PUA: (laughing) Ok then, what would you consider to be some of your best features?


It's a fairly catch-all follow up, but then it gives you an insight in to what they consider to be there strong points. Also if they don't mention something like dress sense or intelligence or whatever, ask them about it. Might give you an the chance to make her feel more connected with you by discussing some of her insecurities but be careful about how you approach them.

However, its usually more likely they're just fishing for compliments.

Usually aftr a neg, i just keep talking like i never made it, although it usually works best in group situations.
