Hi,

I'll try to be brief.

I got a day 2 with this girl, and we both had a great time, she liked me (she texted to me instead of her friend by mistake saying I was dead nice whilst we were out, lol).

Anyway, this was three days ago, we keep texting each other, but she's always got a negative outlook on life, and I'm finding myself trying to cheer her up in every message I send. Trying to be her knight in shining armour if you will.

I'm worried that I'm going to end up friend zoned and end up just a shoulder to cry on.

I suggested we meet up the second night, but she was busy, and I don't want to suggest it again as I'll seem needy. I'm trying to keep things going so that she'll ask me out next time, but she's not biting.

I feel like saying 'cheer the fark up', but clearly this would be due to my inappropriate frustration, and I can tell it would mess her up.

How do you suggest i deal with this?

move on.

this is like an example out of a book or something, makes me wonder if its even a real post.

If its a real post, then stop contacting her. Go hit on another girl because you blew it with this one. She thinks you are "nice" and she is acting depressed.....your Day 2 did not go as well as you thought it did.

I'm going to post a link to a great vid on youtube that might help you

Yeah, it's not a joke. I guess your right.

I guess she isn't the one for me. I know she isn't just acting depressed to put me off, but either way, I'm always a super positive person, we probably are simply not matched.

I think I'll end my chasing of her. If she contacts me again I might just brush her off.

Thanks for replying :)
