This one just came into my head while i was trying to sleep last night.

PUA: Hey, do you guys believe in Dopple Gangers?
HB's: What?/Dopple Gangers?/Whats that?
PUA: Your kidding, you've never heard of Dopple Gangers before? Ok well my ex-girlfriend (pre selection, DHV) studied it a lot in psychology. She said that this guy Dopple had a theory saying every person in the world, me, you, you (and to target) yes, even you, has basically another person almost identical to you somewhere else in the world. The reason I'm asking is because I saw a girl over there that looks exactly like your friend here (pointing to target). Oh wait, maybe it was because they have the same shirt on.

This should get some laughs, and i thought it was a good story. Havent put a lot of thought into it or field tested yet. Just wanted to get your guys opinions on it and see what you would add/take away.

Be harsh, it's the first opener ive ever come up with by myself.

I like the even you part I think thats really smart. But the end seems corny but you could pull it off if you dont do it all stiff and say it in mono tone. But go try it out and see if it works.

try at the end saying. "i dont know if its true or not but the girl over there was wearing the exact same thing. either you wear some really standard clothes or dopple gangers must be true. what do you guys think?"

this crushes girls when they are wearing the same thing as other girls and then you are just calling her "plain" or "standard". this may be more affective on a HB9 or HB10 because they think they are the shit

Are they supposed to laugh after you say that or are they supposed to give their input?

Still Strugglin'

Tried this last night to a 3set and it worked perfectly. The target was like blown away and was so sold on it. I told her it was probably because of the shirt she had on...a bright blue...and she asked if it looked good. I told her it looked ok on her...total neg...she called me out on it. Great! So I kept playing it off like she wasnt hot. Probably HB8. She was blown away by the negs. So I continued with the discussion and told them I had to get back to my friends. The three were staring so obviously across the bar for like 5 min before we moved to another part of the club. Then they came in the room we were in and stood kitty corner to us but I was already in another 2set. They waited long enough and must have bounced.
Awesome opener.

Tried it out with a positive feed back just tweaked it a little (no similar shirt) but went for hair color and similar cut then I later used it as a neg asking why her hairstyle is so common?
