How do I handle excessive IOIs from a girl?

Ok, I have a group of good friends here, boys and girls. I was receiving IOIs from one girl, who is attached to someone else. I am not interested and have been replying with netural remarks or IODs. It became so obvious that everyone knows she is hitting on me, repeatedly on different occasions.

I am not interested in her, definitely not any close or LTR with someone having a BF.

Is this an advantage (DHV) or a problem (other girls to scared to approach me in order not to offend her)?

How should I handle this elegantly?

If she isn't picking up your IOD's maybe you do have to be straightforward. Maybe mention something about wanting a girl who isn't in a relationship. Or you can just ignore it. That usually works, hehe.

Befriend her and start hanging out with her in order to get access to her female connections.

Oh and of course, tell her you only want to be friends. No false hopes.
