| The title pretty much sums it all. This will be a lengthy post, so I appreciate those who take the time to read it. If you want, skim through it, but pay attention to the last part because I need advice lol.
Here's the story: There's this very cute girl who was in my History class about a year ago when I was an afc with a girlfriend. Fast forward to about a month ago, I've been a club promoter for a little while and I added her on Facebook because that's what I do. Last week she fb IM'd me saying that she remembers me, blah blah blah and it turns out we have two of the same classes together. What are the chances of that. Mind you, we never really talked to each other before that.
So today is the end of Day 2 of class, so I'll have to recap.
Day 1: I walk into class late, my eyes meet with her, she smiles and I return it. So after the end of class she does the hug gesture and we hug. Then we walk to the same parking lot where we parked. I'm parked further away and she offers me a ride, which I thank her for but don't take it. Either she's gaming me, showing IOI's, or she's just a nice, sweet girl.
Day 2: Our first class of the day, we sit close to each other. After this class, we have an hour break, then we have another class. After class we part our ways and I go to the book store. Damn college books are expensive! So while I'm looking around in the bookstore, we run into each other and talk for a little bit. She leaves because she wants to get food and I continue book shopping. Next I'm waiting in line, then she meets up with me again as if she was looking for me. We talk more, I buy my book and she ends up following/hanging with me until our next class.
We wait outside of class and find a place to sit where another couple is at. I engange a conversation with them and the four of us all get along. I make them all laugh and blah blah blah. Now our second class starts, we sit next to each other again and the teacher is showing us how to use our graphing calculators as a review. I help her out with it in the meantime. In the middle of it, we're chit chatting about random stuff. We're both hungry so I mention if she likes sushi and she does (bonus points) so we talk about different places where we like to eat sushi. Then all of a sudden, before I mention it, she says "we should get some after class some time" and I agree but don't set a sure date. She also asks for my phone number because she "didn't know where our first class was because the college website was down." I forget to give her my number by the way and I could have teased her saying that she's trying to pick me up or something haha.
So after our last class together, we walk together and start talking about how shitty parking is. I ride a motorcycle so I talk about that and low and behold she wants a motorcycle for herself! EXTRA MEGA BONUS POINTS! So we start talking about how free it feels to be on a bike and what kind of bike would suit her. I want to cut it short, so I tell her I have to go, so we hug and I'm on my way.
The Analysis
So far, I think I've been doing a good job, but I think she had a boyfriend before; I'm not sure if they're still together and I know I know, I shouldn't give a flying fart. Just work it. Our conversations are never dull, I tease her and I throw in some high-fiving/hug kino. She even showed me that she did her nails yesterday day so that gave me a reason to touch her hands for a little. I don't message her or anything on fb and I definitely don't want to spend too much time nor talk to her that much in class.
I've always had a problem with this and I'm not sure if she's interested in me or if she's just friendly. Tomorrow, Jamba Juice is giving out a free smoothie to college students, which she pointed out to me, so I told her we should get some tomorrow and she agreed. Easy insta-date. I plan on asking her to join me to the club that I promote for Thursday night and I can escalate there if she accepts.
So what the heck do I do to stay out of the friend zone? It's only been two days, but I don't really know what to make out of all this. Your advice is much appreciated!
Stay Alpha, my friends.
