This is a long one, but worth reading!

Greetings everyone!

I just pulled of a good job and want to share it with the rest of you and also would like to hear some responses!

I just moved to a new city to start university, so im pretty new in town. One day, me and my friend went to buy some booze, and when we went in the shop, I saw the girl working there starring at me, but looking away the moment i got eye contact with her, not once, twice, but many times, so i took it as IPI number 1.

The next time i went there, I could tell that she recognized me, and she also said hello when she saw me, second IPI

The third time, she did the normal thing, starred at me, and then said hello, but this time she asked me where im from, and we had a short conversation. Third IPI

Anyway, all these times i went in with some friends and the line behind me was long so i didnt have much time to do anything. And i didnt want to do anything when im with my friends, she might not feel comfortable then.

Anyway, Today I went in to do my thing!
I entered the shop, and tried not to get eye contact with her, and went straight to the place to pick up my bottle of bacardi.
Then i went to the disk where she was sitting. Our eyes meet and it goes like this:

The Girl: Hello, I havent seen you for a while, where have you been?
ME: Hey there! Well, im not an alcoholic so i cant come here everyday, can I?
The Girl: *laughs*

* Then I reach out and show her my ID to verify that im over 20 to buy my drink *

ME: Well, this is kinda unfair isnt it?
*she looks strange at me*
ME: I mean, well now you just took a look at my ID and learned my name, cause its written there, but i still dont know your name
*she giggles and answers*
The Girl: My name is .....
ME: Ah, thats better!
The Girl: Well give me ur number so we can take a talk
ME: Well, nah.. I was more thinking of coming here, first get your name, and the next time I get here, Im coming for your number!
The Girl: *laughs*
The Girl: What if im not here then? Maybe i dissapear
ME: You wont, I know you'll be here

*Then she suddenly gets quiet, and says*
The Girl: I was just kidding (about the number part)
ME: No you didnt, I know that for a fact
The Girl: *laughs*
ME: Dont worry, next time I get here, im brining my number
The Girl: *Smiles*

After that, I knew that I did my job right and knew that it was to move out

ME: Well I got to go now, Ill see ya around, take care now, byebye!

and there!

Next time i go there ill just bring a note with my number one, and say, Here I am as i promised and take it from there!

Well, you should of landed her number that day. Because now your going to be telegraphing so much interest the next time you walk in there. Because if you walk in with your number, it says. You thought about her the whole time since you last met, you rememberd to write your # down just for her. And secondly, WHY ARE YOU VOLUNTEERING YOUR NUMBER! Very AFC!

So what you have to do the next time you go back is to go in. Get your shit, and then go see her. Fluff her a bit, then she'll ask you for your number. Response:
You: "Sorry, I thought about it and you look kinda like the stalker type *sarcasticly*"
Her: *Shocked/laughing*
You: "But I tell you what. I'm going to let you give me your number. And will go some place public where my screams could be heard."
Her: *Response*
Me: "So write down your number. In fact, draw a picture of yourself too so the police will have at least something for a description."

Granted my style is heavy C&F, but that's what I'd do in your situation.
p.s. A tip on IOI's(not IPI), they must be given in the same meeting/situation. Not over time, You need 3 at one time to disqualify fluke or natural BL.

Nono man, its actually good thing I put her on hold!
Now im leaving her on wait, not only showing her that im no deperate kid wanting some girls number, and that i know what im doing and its her job too keep me interested in her, not the other way around. Hard-to-get all the way man hehe

This is what the rest of my plan looks like:

Im planning to enter the shop, go straight to the disk without saying hello or smth, i just go and ask her:

ME: What kind of whine do you like? red or white?
*she will look strange at me and answer*
*example* GIRL: White

Then I go in the store and buy a white wine, and handle her a note with my number and a message saying:
"What night do you want to open the bottle with me"?

So then all i need to do is to wait for the call, and the date is FIXED :p

Absolutely wrong. She's not on hold, you are. She KNOWS your coming back with the number (because your a single man who only wants her for sex). SHE KNOWS your coming back because your a regular customer. Ok so now she knows you've only there for her. That the reason you came to the store was to talk to her. Your telegraphing incredible amounts of interest. Why don't you just ask her what colour of flowers you want at your two's wedding? She's going to pickup that you've rehearsed this whole routine before you got there already. Rehearsal = Thinking About Her = Obsessive = Desperate = DLV Again as above... You said it yourself. You'll wait, and wait, and wait. This entire routine has totally given her all the power in the interaction and everything is dependant on her action, not yours.

I understand what you are saying, but remember, she was the one who wanted my number, she was the one wanting to get in touch with me by saying hello to me all the time when I got in the store.

I dont look obsessed with her if i show up after a couple of days and invite her out with the way im planning.

anyway, ill test it and see what happens, but im sure it will work out pretty fine, i dont regret for not asking for her number, cause i want to play it cool and not be the desperate guy asking for it right away =)

The rest of the story:

I finally went down there again, even so it had gone too long since last time.
I got there, and spotted her

ME: Heelooo! (with a confident and high voice)
SHe: Hi (and then continuing reading in some kind of a book while she was waiting for costumers

I went and found what i wanted and went to her disk:

Me: Hey, i must admit i missed you a bit (with a little smile)
She: Haha, really ?!
Me: Yea, was so long time ago since i last visited you, Ive been away, and now im moving to a new place, so i havent had much time
She: Oh I see, how is it going?
Me: its going fine, thanks!

and after I payed, she gave me the receipt and i saw that the book she was holding was a phone book, so i said:

Me: hah so ur still trying to get my number? (while looking at the phonebook)
She: hahah, no its for.. ( I cut her off)
Me: anyway, i told you i would give you my number next time, so here it is (and wrote down the number on the back of the receipt!
She: you dont need to write down ur name too, I still remember it
Me: Naha, I want too, its such a nice name
She: hahah

Anyway, then i gave her my number and turned away and said:
Me: well i got to go, and now you have my number.. byebye!
She: Bye

Definately agree with holden on this one, while you showed a little DHV with holding back your on your # you hurt yourself more in the long run. You admited that next time you'd bring it for her so she knows she has your attention. Then

Also remember when you have time inbetween meetings you loose value and progress on the game as well.

well I actually said that on purpose to show her that im interested aswell, cause it had been so long time since I had been there, and that i didnt give her my number.

But i never regret for not giving her my number the first time, its always good to play it hard to get and put her on hold. It would be a normal thing to do to give her my number right away that day, and girls dont like normal things.

But just think about it, where is the fun in giving her my number right away? Its much fun to put her on hold and play with her a bit.. and have fun with the excitement!

By showing interest your DLV'ing yourself, by waiting those couple of days you were required to make a IoI (indicator of interest) for something you could have already gotten. There are many other ways to DHV yourself and IoD (indicator of disinterest) that you could have used. By that one DHV you placed (but still a IoI for her since she knew you where coming back with the #) you had to DLV yourself to make up for something you could have already accomplished.[/quote]

Dude, first of all congrets on going in there and doing your thing (it takes guts) but try to really read what these other guys are writing:
this chick probably has loads of guys wanting to go out with her, bed her, whatever. Many of them will offer her their number. By offering her your number (even after a couple of days) chances are great you´ve become just one of those guys for her.
What you want to do is play it in such a way that she will give you her number. It´s a psychological thing because if she gave you her number, she must like you, right? In the logic she normally uses in such a situation she is now the one wanting you!
Hope this clarifies some things. I advise you to catch up on the theory.

Haha; I actually just got off the phone with her right now.. she called me the same day, (that is today) she just had finished work and called me and we talked for like 20 mins now.
She also asked me why I didnt give her my number the first time she asked, and that she had been thinking about it the whole time, and i just laughed and said, did it really drove you that crazy? She replied and said, not crazy, but it sure made me wonder.

Anyway, it was a good talk.. and she told me to pay her a visit when i felt like it, and i said, sure i will =)

Maybe my method didnt go by any theory or rules you guys have, and maybe it would be better to give her my number right away, but I think i did an okey job on this and dont regret on anything =)

So she called you, you talked and you didn't setup a date for "hanging out".

Sweet jesus, whatever. Enjoy your new found AFC 'method' I'm sure you'll find true love, get laid a lot, and blah blah blah. Sugar Plums and Gingerbread....
