So I was in the field last night, at a bar called Tila Tequila... It was pretty week, lots of UGs, a couple HB7's and 8's... nothing too special. Then a two set was in motion consisting of an HB8 and an HB9... My buddies and I were sitting at a table - directly in their course of travel. So I told them to play along, I stopped the HB8 when she walked by: "Excuse me? My friends and I can't seem to come to a conclusion about something, could we get a females opinion." Busted out the jealous girlfriend skit while soley giving my attention to the HB8. The HB8 gave her unimportant opinion - I don't even remember what she said. The HB9 said "I think he should get rid of them (pictures)". I then turned to the HB8 and said with a smile "Is she always this direct?". So we said thanks for their help and the girls continued on to their destination.

About 15 minutes later I saw them again, and this made the approach a lot less fearful and a whole lot easier. So I made the approach, said "Thanks for the opinion but it didn't really get us anywhere." Then I busted out the best friends test - worked like a charm. Introduced myself to them and of course pulled the handshake routine... they obviously loved it. While doing this I negged the shit out of HB9. Eventually my buddy came up to HB8 and started talking to her so I took aside HB9, talked about interests and whatnot and eventually # closed.

The point of the story is that you can have the ladies approach you... it may not be intentional but it does help remove a little bit of fear when you approach them later on in the night. There are a few things to consider, however: Make sure the girls aren't going to the washroom or walking fast towards their destination. Also, make sure your buddies don't become AFC's and stop their previous conversations and give their full attention to the ladies. This is a very obvious DLV for your crew. If your buddies continue their conversation and hardly rest an eye on the ladies, it can def act as a DHV.

Any additional comments are welcome. I'm new to the forum and to the game; however, I've been using similar techniques my whole life. Please let me know if there is a term for this situational approach.

When approaching sets of 2 or more strumps I almost always do the non-approach un-interested opener! Just to get the broads AWAY from their table...

Walk up and say, " Hi, I'm Big. I got a table but no partner. Loser buys the beer. Deal?" Works everytime! ...
