I was out last night and REALLY hit it off with a girl at a bar. Couldn't have gamed any better, massive connection, bounced to a different part of the bar, increasing kino, very close to kiss-close (I could have on a few occasions but I was stupidly building up sexual tension - just something I like to do).

Anyway, ended up walking hand in hand to another part of the bar where I was gonna kiss-close. As we're walking her friend found her again and kinda took her to one side. By the time I realized this I'd already gone like 5 meters past them. The friend introduced them both to these two douches and I had a moment of 'WTF!?'.

In my head I didn't wanna have to walk all the way back over her, amog these guys and have to work for her. I guess I was just pissed that she darted off so quickly after such a great connection. Anyway, what followed was a totally awkward few minutes where I just went off and did my own thing, but it was obvious that I was trying to play it 'aloof'. One second you're about to make out with a hot girl, next moment you're trying to look cool sipping a beer on your own. Basically cat-string theory totally back-fired on me, as she seems really pissy about the whole aloof thing when I bumped into her later.

Anyway ideas on what a better approach would be? My game's pretty solid, but I have problems with obstacles and unexpected shit like this.

Hey man, I've had a similar experiences, so much so I've gotten quite good at responding to them. You should have walked over and taken control of the situation (displaying dominance and confidence) and said "whats a guy got to do to get an introduction to a girls friends around her?" (with a smile). The guys wont know how to react to this obstacle so you'll be in charge. Ignore the girl for a minute or so, talk to the guys, JUST THE GUYS. This reinforeces your dominance, social proof, and even makes her want you to talk to her. Maybe after a few minutes just turn to her and say "lets go find some place quiet", tell the set you're stealing her for a while and leave.

Thanks man! That's pretty much what I thought afterwards, but it's good to hear it from someone else.

If the friend had just approached us I would have been fine, but it was the strangeness of suddenly being like 5 meters away from what had formed as a new set!

Anyway, really like the example line you used . Def won't let this happen again, I was kicking myself afterwards haha.
