Location: Brisbane, Australia | | i had the same situation when i first started, virtually no pictures of me, i find its hard to get pictures up there when you have none, it looks awkward but once you've got more than about 100 then your set and you can put anything and everything up

post a lot of comment and an occasional interesting/cool link on your wall
don't be afraid of adding people your barley know or to comment on their photo's/comments
but adding fake friends and comment on your own profile goes a little far in my opinion

Location: Ireland | | I think making fake friends is a bit too far definitely. Just add people who you know vaguely or know to see around the place and don't be too picky. Then just try to post interesting status updates and comment on other peoples statuses. You should also sift through your other friends' photos and see if they have any cool pictures of you in them that you can steal and make your own photo album from those photos. And tag yourself or ask your friends to tag you in their pictures too.

Location: northern california | | i have a pic of me standing infront of a pyramid and a lot of people tend to like that stuff. also like mentioned above in a previous post, chicks love to take pictures...so just suggest taking pictures with them and they will most likely tag you the next day. and it gives a false sense of preselection perception. it works like magic if anyone comes across ur page.
