Are you afraid of settling down at some point and just want to have short term relationships for the rest of your life? If so, that's not a problem, its closer to what humans evolved to be like, like the majority of animals on the planet, not to be monogamous. Very interesting book on the subject if you want to understand how human sexuality has evolved the way it has: Why Is Sex Fun? By Jared Diamond. Personally one of the reasons I am learning pick up is so that I am able to find someone that I want to be with and then be able to attract that person, so I hope to be married one day, but I'm still in my early 20s, so its not a huge rush.

Ever heard of the term pussy magnet?

Don't ask me why but women like guys that already have women. And they like nothing more than trying to steal you away from another woman. They also feel a certain comfort in a guy that has shown an ability to hang out full time with a woman.

A woman can smell a single, desperate guy that's not getting laid regularly a mile away. He might as well have a sack of hog shyt slung over his shoulder or something.

I can't tell you how many times I've been out with my wife, then when I've returned to the same location alone women have literally thrown themselves at me. No doubt part of this is age (I'm in my '40's and I've come to the conclusion young women like grandpa) , and the other part is they think this guy must have something going on, some money or something, because there is a woman on earth that will have him full time. I also look damn good if I say so myself.

Now seriously, I've gotten more play when I hit the big 40 than I ever did when I was younger. Women like older guys, as long as they've maintained a certain degree of sanity and are neat and clean. So there's hope for you young guys after all.

In my experience, the single biggest factor there is to getting with women. This is simple. It's like dancing. You've got to lead. If you're unwilling to lead or take a chance, you'd might as well develop a intimate relationship with your bottle of lotion and towel, because women are simply not going to do it for you.

So, get out there and chase them around, and try to have fun amidst all this agony and confusion. Even if it doesn't work out, they'll respect you for it and you'll respect yourself. Choose your partners carefully, and don't even think about screwing every woman you date (unless you desire a prescription for Valtrex, like alimony, etc..). Don't get married before you're ready, and be honest about it. And under no circumstances get married or get a woman pregnant if you're under 25. And hopefully one day you'll find a woman with some sense, and one that's willing to have you long term.

You'll benefit in so many ways.

Cool.. Well at least you're thinking about this stuff now. That clearly puts both of us ahead of the competition.

Besides, you just never know when you might need it.

I'm happy for all of you whom are now or want to be married. My experience is thus... I was married for a few years, had two children, remained faithful to my wife, treated her like gold.... One day, while on a business trip she calls, "You know what makes me happy?" "What" I asked... "When you're away from home!" So, that's my experience, as such? I'll NEVER marry again... Again, congrats to all whom are now married. "To each his own" as it were. :P

Man that sux..

My wife and I kid each other about that all the time. It's done in jest.

But then that's a good reason to keep your skills up to date. You just never know when you may need to use them again.

Real estate agent..?

Haha.. I had one of those once. Or I should say I could have..

My wife and I were selling our starter home in Charlotte, while we were building our log home out here in the woods. We got a real estate agent, early '30's, single, struck me as sort of a bimbo. Looked ok.., not great. Looked like she'd been around the block a few times. But you know the deal, well dressed, fancy ride, talked the talk, flirty. Couldn't sell shyt.

I knew something was up when she called me one February morning, and said she wanted to stop by to drop off some paperwork by the house. I just happened to be home that day. I said ok, no problem.. I hear a knock at the door, and I go answer it. There she is in a miniskirt, and a skimpy top giving me the eye and grinning the whole time holding a few papers..

The kicker? It was 20 degrees.

I took the paperwork, said check you later, and shut the door.

She didn't know she couldn't afford me anyway, besides the fact that as far as mistresses go she was definitely over the hill. I suppose she figured it all out on the way back out to the Tahoe.. Because we never heard from her again.
