Hello, I've just watched The Pick Up Artist season one and my question is.. Is it possible that Mystery 1,90cm guy with bad looking and shitty gadgets could pick up any girl he wants to..? for me that is unbeliveable..

Anybody of you guys were at his training and saw him in action? We couldn't see Myster in action at The Pick Up Artist.. so thats why im wondering about it..

Mystery was the father of the Mystery Method. He developed it himself by going and doing hundreds of approaches. He's the real deal. Everything he does has a reason behind it, it's not just about putting on wacky clothes etc.

Without his routines his shit is stupid.
His overall method is attraction --> comfort --> seduction.
We already do that subconsciously
Only things from him that are useful is Bait Hook Reel Release and freeze outs.

I've got a lot of respect for him because of the way he created his method.
And we're supposed to do that subconsciously but we don't necessarily do. It's kinda like NLP. We do a lot of things subconsciously but until we bring it to the conscious level and relearn it we aren't really aware of it. Therefore much respect for the man. Understanding his theories helped me in almost every aspect of my life. I guess it's a subjective thing!

Gr4p3 I was introduced to this by the game but found out very quickly that there are better and easier ways to getting women.
Maybe you might as well I don't know, only way to tell is to try it out and see for yourself if you like it.
If you are reading a lot that's fine just remember to apply it in field.

Agree 100%. There's a lot out there but you gotta practice the stuff. See what suits you and is easiest for you. Pretty much everything works, it's just a matter of choosing what suits you best.

I'm a really scientific and logical guy, partly because I've got a mild form of autism. Learning about people and relationships the way mystery maps it out was a great help. I don't stick to his stuff alone of course. I put a lot of value to it because it helped me. Look through my eyes and I'm pretty sure you'll hear what I'm saying.
So for a guy who had pretty much zero understanding of social skills and interactions and who couldn't seem to figure it out myself, mystery helped me grasp it.
Now I'm starting NLP to further get the whole social stuff down. It sounds strange but imagine living a life where you are too shy to ask a question about something you don't understand. And that's even asking your parents. Strange huh but that was my reality. MM was a cheat sheet . Now because of him and all the other stuff I've been learning and practicing I'm much better!

Seems to be a lot of Mystery bashing. Look Serj, Mystery is an amazing PUA. Lots of people can pick up chicks, admittedly, but Mystery picks them up in higher ratios with higher quality than your average Joe.

Now then. Sure, his results aren't as impressive as some newer guys. But one should note that, without Mystery, we'd still have to learn hypnosis to get anywhere with women. MM is actually simpler than SS. Granted, we've improved our methods and simplified them further, but Mystery coined many of the terms we use today, and had a HUGE impact on the PUA community. As for live field demonstrations... you can find videos on YouTube.

That's the whole point of MM, Mystery himself said that this is just the method and should be adapted to match your personality and stories. If you read the Mystery Method you'll realise that he also says that it's not a hard and fast set of rules, there's always exceptions. But by following his general methods and especially by adapting them to your own style then you WILL have success. No-one is saying that Mystery's method is the be all and end all but if you want to go from an AFC to a PUA then MM is the perfect starting tool.

I can't argue with his success but that style is not for me. His method involves an awful lot of lying - both to target(s) but more importantly to yourself. Not huge lies just a huge volume of lies. Examples: do any of us really care about some random chick's opinion on a made up friend's relationship? I don't, at least not until I know if the chick's opinion is worth anything. Even then it would have to be a real friend with a real problem. And no I do not "just have a second," I have plenty of time - for the right girl. There was no fight that she just missed between a midget and a hooker, I never came across a pile of warm bear shit in the woods and the list goes on and on.

I understand that the method works and it's good to know why it works but how can you possible be congruent when you're lying all the time?
