I just want to throw this out there and get everyone else's take on it. Last night I tried this and, yes I got some awkward stares from some, but also some interest from others that previously didn't show interest.

I went into the club first and did the "walk around", then asked a couple of the staff members if there was a rule against wearing sunglasses in the club. They said no, and looked at me funny, lol. I said cool and thanks.

I then went back out to my car, got my sunglasses, and brought them in. I put them on at different times while in the club and took them off at other times. It was interesting to see the reactions either way. At one point, while dancing hard, with a PACKED dance floor, two girls that didn't show IOI's before the glasses, suddenly moved closer to me while I danced with the sunglasses on. It was peacocking in a way that no other guy in there had the guts to do. Obviously it wouldn't work for everyone, and was looked down upon by some, but who cares about that? Shit, you ain't gonna please everyone anyway, and shouldn't worry about that to begin with.

BUT, it did bring some GOOD attention from some ATTRACTIVE girls. So, anyway, that was my experience last night, and I'm thinking about trying it again tonight.

Also, I did all of this while I was waiting for another girl that I had picked up a week ago. She came there to join me at that club. Yes, we have hooked up outside of the club during this past week also.

Well, that was my experience, and it was fun, but would love to hear others thoughts on it, whether you've done anything like that before or not.

My brother and I both went to the mall the other night wearing hats and sunglasses inside.

We were stopped by two girls trying to sell us stuff...some kind of hand cream or something.

One was pretty cute, like HB7, the other a 5. Anyway, the 7 used all of her girly cute girl charms to try and get me to buy...but I didn't budge. My brother occupied the 5.

He was telling me what she was saying to him:

5: Take off your sunglasses.
Bro: why?
5: I want to see what color your eyes are.
Bro: I can't take them off for 2 reasons...
5: What?
Bro: 1 - we just met and I don't know you that well and 2 I never take off my sunglasses anyway.

At this point, she was really into him.

Then he left. (JERK)

That left me with the 5 and the 7. I told them I wouldn't
be buying, but they should write down their emails and
I'll follow up with them. (Corny, I know).

The 5 did it and handed me the paper. I then turned to the
7 and asked her if she actually used the product she was
selling on her nails.

7: Yes, of course.
Me: Let me see! (I grab her hand and touch each fingernail individually, mmm kino!)
Me: Hmm, it looks like you have dirt under that nail (I point to pointer finger)
7: huh? (she looks at hand) Oh, that' chocolate
Me: Chocolate?! How'd you manage that?
7: ::laughs::

I can see her starting to show some IOI's.

Then I turn it up a little bit with the line from Mystery, even though
I thought I wouldn't use it.

Me: Do you know you blink a lot?
7: I do?
Me: Yeah, your eyes are just...(I bring my fingers and thumbs together 3 times really fast, mimicking a fast blink.)
7: Maybe I need glasses

I turn to the 5 and stick to the material.

Me: Is she always like this?
5: ::laughs:: yeah
7: ::

I've turned my back to the 7 then she says to me:

7: What's your name?
Me: Bounty, what's yours?
7: Adi
Me: What? What kind of name is that?
7: Stop, it's Israeli (At this point she runs both hands through
her hair, makes a ponytail, let's it down and smile directly at
me...I love easy to read IOI's!

7: Here, let me write it down for you. (She takes the paper the 5 had given me.
Me: Go ahead and write down your email address too in case I want to email you personally.
7: Yeah, for sure.

At this point I could have gotten her phone number, but I felt bad for the 5.

Looking back, maybe I should have gotten both #'s. But, I'm emailing the girl tonight so we'll see what happens.

I forgot to mention that instead of using a False Time Constraint I was using a real one. I had to leave and kept asking them what time it was as they ran through their sales speech.

I also think looking the 7 in the eye (with shades on!) and telling her straight up "No, I won't be buying this, but good try anyway" really opened the door for me. She seemed more interested in me from this point.

But I said all that to say this: With or without shades, it's the confidence level. I never thought I could get 2 girls email address wearing sunglasses and a giant hat at the mall within 10 minutes...especially cute girls hired to sell people stuff as they walk by.

It's funny how this stuff works.

Next Goal - # close!

I just can't see wearing my shades in a club because it makes it even more dark than it already is and I find nothing impresses the ladies like bumping into shit in the dark. If I'm able to get some red lenses for my favorite pair, then I probably will though.

Rye Lee, I wondered about the darkness of it myself, but it turns out I can see pretty well WITH the sunglasses on. In fact, the girls would watch me if they moved around me, and I could see them and what they were doing and smile at them. I followed them with my head just a little to show I saw them, and would smile.

I totally support using the sunglasses as a peacocking prop for sarging. When in a dark club just put them in your head. Otherwise put them on like regular if its not too dark.
You can even use it in conjunction to the photo routine. 95% success rate!
That was my peacocking prop for all of Sept weekends.

I think wearing sunglasses is totally gay. I never talk to to "THAT" guy. I think its arrogant and TOO COCKY.

I also think its an amateur thing to do. Im sure you will pick up a girl wearing them. But NONE of my HB8-10 friends unless you are a fucking SUPER MODEL fall for that.

i dont think sunglasses in the club is peacocking.... first of all a lot of people wear them... trying to be cool and all that. if you not the only one who is doing it- its not a peacocking.

exmpl: men earings like 5-10 years ago it would fly as being cocky but now days everyone wears em...

and second thing.. most of the people who wears em at night club are on EX or some other shit... the only attention u gonna get is from junkies with the questions "got some stuff/or wanna buy some"


i work in the club... so trust me on that one!

Try it and see if it works for you. Although I agree if you wear glasses at night seems pretty try hard( if say the glasses were "designer looking") but the glasses I used were the goofy $10 plastic elvis glasses. Much like everything in the pick up art its all how you carry yourself.

interesting... ive been trying to find something that has like real lightly tinted blue lens or something (cause i got real blue eyes that i dont really want to hide, plus its hard to see anything

i agree with justin, its pretty average to have sunglasses in the club. be the exception to the rule and wear elton john style shades if ur peacocking

Ok, I did the sunglass thing again this past weekend with the girl I had picked up. She and her friend met me there at the club. She said I was the only guy in the club with sunglasses on. But, she wasn't saying that in a bad way. It was true though. But, she appreciates that I'm not "trying" to "fit in" with what everyone else is doing. By the way, she is "open" to me any night at any time of the night.

So, I guess the sunglass thing at all bad, it just depends.

But, just like Mystery's style, one thing doesn't work for everyone, and I doubt the sunglass thing will work for me all the time either.
