im extremely new to this... read the game, learnt some routines, went and did the newbie test and dont have a problem opening with girls...
but i went out on saturday and tried this whole pick up thing and got to a stage (think its called mid-game) and ran out of things to say...
my mates said i should of said
"i gotta go see my mates now, but i'll catch you guys later" then go back to them later in the evening...

im going out thursday in leicester, and saturday in sheffield.....

any tips to get me past the opening stages and on to isolation and demonstrating value

This would of been good, Always make out you cant stay long. Its important to build comfort while you can though. Yeah so you could say 'hey so yeah i gota get back to my friends. Pleasure meeting you' then number close if you think you should.
