Hi I met this girl last thursday while she was walking her dog..we started talking and she gave me her phone number without even asking for it..she said i should hang out with her and her roommate..she even suggested that saturday would be great..i suggested a play and she agreed..i texted her that night saying goodnight..she replied it was great meeting u..i didnt text her on friday..on saturday noon i texted and asked her about the play..no reply..i left voicemail on evening..no reply..sunday was my birthday..i invited her to my birthday party..no reply..i am both surprised and disappointed..even random numbers i get in clubs have never flaked..i really liked this girl and was considering her as my possible gf..i dont know why suddenly things have changed..anyone has similar experiences?why has she stopped after responding once?what i must do now?

I'm working on a theory that if - every time you call, she's thrilled to hear from you, you should call almost every day, until the day 2. Then like every 2nd day till the day 3. It's a comfort building thing.

I think it wasn't great to txt her as your initial contact after 2 days. Should have called. Yes it wasn't the worst thing in the world, but girls are wierd like this, if things moved fast, and then they have some reason not to feel comfortable, they switch right off.

Basically, this is it I guess. Call her in a week. If nothing, just move on, you can't do anything.

Girls are weird. Presumably she's gone cold on you. Or lost her phone.

Hm, to clarify, when I said "Girls are wierd like that" I really meant "it seems wierd when girls do those things.

But the fact is, that sometimes it really does come down to one little thing you do wrong that makes you miss out on the whole situation. The thing is, that doesn't matter. If you're worrying about what external influences will mess things up for you, you're not in a mindspace that will give you the best chance to be the most attractive you can. So you just have to let go and do what you want.
