Whenver I get a number from a
girl, I usually get it through numerous
methods; but my favorite one that
has NEVER failed me is this one:

"So what are you doing this weekend?
Just eating ice cream and watching TV?
lol (a good neg, by the way)"

"No, I have to do...(blah blah)."

"Well it's not more fun than what I'm doing."

"What do you have planned?"

"I might be throwing a house party. I'm home
alone this weekend and I might invite over some
people. You're more than welcome to come."

"Sure, that'd be great."

"Alright, let me get your number and I'll give you
a call."




Is that still considered a pickup? What if the girl
just wants to party but isn't interested in you, as
a person?

What do you guys think?

I have had many pickups like this- They are very generic and simple but can obviously get you laid

Personally when I have been picked up this way i will not show up if im not interested, or not attracted to you. But some girls are different, if a girl is bored and her friends say " well if hes not cute , its free beer" and maybe he has cute friends"

So you will find out when you shows

But this is def not a 100% close.

Well it depends are you just collecting numbers or are you getting laid that night?

Most guys can say they are having a party my boys will be there bring your girls. And get her number.

Now calling her and her actually going to show is a whole different animal and then closing on her when she gets there, now thats a "CLOSE" to me.

But if you are just collecting numbers to put in your top drawer, and you consider that a close then IM on a whole different game field.

A guy calling the girl doesnt mean hes "needy" or desperate. And I never said to beg her to come to the party.

I thought it was very generic. But thats my opinion.

And next time to have her wanting to come to the party, and actually showing up. I dont see the reason for just collecting numbers.

But thats why I say I pick up girls for different reasons.

lol I just see it as something that
I can do in my spare time

I have a girlfriend, so I'm not going
to call, obviously. But as long as I
get the number, I feel like I still have
my options open in case something
happens with my current girlfriend.

You're going to build yourself a bad reputation. I'm not saying I don't get numbers that I throw away because at the end of the interaction I lost interest, or just didn't feel a connection, but if you are doing this in places like school, or within circles of friends, then you're just gonna end up being considered a douche.
