Below are our POF messages back and fourth... I know the myspace close was probably really stupid, but would like to at least make this a learning experience. I'm a n00b, what can I say?

Hey. I do like hip hop but my taste in music
goes well beyond that. One of my favorite
bands right now is Kings of Leon.

ME:
I actually googled, and listened to a little Kings of Leon. Not bad at all. I really like the sound they have. Living in , I was really into the Grunge thing back in the 90's... and still listen to a lot of Mother Love Bone, Sound Garden, etc.

Anyway, I moved to , permanently, about 2008 to take care of a family member who was ill. All my family lives here (in ), and most of my friends are in and ; so, I travel between the three cities quite frequently. Before, 2008 I lived in , and migrated down here for the snowboarding season most every year. Still trying to get accustomed to this whole 100+ degree thing in the summer with no rain, way too hot and dry!

Well, I was planning on going to w/ my cousins, but sprained my ankle pretty good a few days ago. I tripped over a hose while watering the front lawn... lol It is getting better, but still not good enough to walk around too much. Oh, well... not being a . native, was never much of a big event for me.

Oh, I almost forgot to ask, do you do the myspace thing?

very often. I use facebook more.

Alright I'm not sure what you question is exactly. So she has MySpace but doesn't use it often and she said she's on Facebook. You can just simply ask for her Facebook page but it may be a little soon for her.

I think you'd be better off getting her to talk on Instant Messenger because it's more real time way of communicating and you'll get further. Before you can do that you are going to have to talk to her a bit more on POF to gain enough comfort with her to do that. But you are on the right track here just keep it up.
