ok, this is a sticking point for me, so it's something I'm trying to improve drastically;

So today I challenged myself to open at least 1 HB today for Day Game, I know that sounds like it's not enough, but baby steps, tomorrow it's 2, Thursday=3 and so on. Anyway, I was at work(Work Security in a Mall) and there was this HB6.5 outside smoking so:

I approached her, stopped along side her as if to look into the street

Opened over Shoulder, Noticed a Tattoo on her hand and decided to try a opener

ME: "Hi, thats a nice tattoo on your hand, what is it?"

HER: "Oh, it's a Butterfly"

ME: "Ah, cool, my sister has a butterfly tattoo, it's on her foot, weird thing is, it's upside down, I mean for her looking down at it from her perspective, its facing the right way, but for anyone looking at it, it's the wrong way up"

HER: "wow(small laugh) that is weird, this is only one of mine, plan on getting a few more,"

ME: "Cool, I only have the one right now, but got a whole plan though out for the rest, know where there going and everything"

HER: "Cool, what is the one you have now"(IOI?)

(Show the tat on my forearm)

HER: "That's nice, what are the others you're getting"

ME: "Well"(Go through the list that I know very well)

HER: "Well, there certinally different"(At this point I crossed my arms and looked away into the road)

ME: "I could use a opinion however, the sleeve ones going down my arm, should I get them in colour or B&W?"

HER: "Definatly Colour(with a nice smile), wel I gotta go, bye"

ME: "Yea, see ya"


Definatly harder than I thought to start, got comfortable quick, but I do need to speak louder and clearer and feel like I needed to change the thread at one point, but couldent see a chace to do that(I'll put that down to inexperience I think)

Considering that was your first time I think you did a really good job.

The more you get used to it, what you will want to do is start one thread, ie the tatoo thread, then midway through, change the topic, then when that wears out go back to thread 1. You have to build up a repretoire of threads and topics. You can use these for all the girls you pick up on day game.

Sounds like you have the perfect job for running day game as well. Good job on your first attempt.

Thanks for the feedback peeps, yea, I've seen my job in a different light actually, just by looking around yesterday I had chances to open a fair amount of times, well, today I'm going for 2, all practice
