haha true though. You should just paint your place and try your hardest to fix it up. It doesn't have to be amazing, it just has to look neat and not dirty. If a girl goes back to your place chances are she isn't attracted to you for your money right? It means she likes you as a person! Just make sure there isn't anything that is a turn off (ex. dust, peeling paint, stains) because you can easily repaint, clean and take care of your place if its run down. It probably won't take anywhere near $1,000 to fix up an apartment.
