I've been conversing with a girl who seems pretty shy at least in fron of her friends, so I've mainly been going for funny stories and C&F in my phone game.

I want to escalate to something more direct and Im thinking of coming across as cute rather than too dominant because I dont want to scare her off.

My last text to her went something like
"Hey sorry I spilled Malibu on your cardigan on Saurday, I figured you could wear it inside out and back to front or something"
to which she replied
"That's OK my super cardigan holder and ruiner.. love you anyway though"

Normally when I don't know what to reply with I'd just send something blatantly obscene and irrelevant like "my penis wants to sneeze milk in your tummy" but I acually care about how this one plays out, and I want to move on to a proper day 2.

Since she left me with a message that I wanted and it seemed like she was in a favourable state, I've left it a couple of days.

Now I want to start going direct but in a non-threatening way, so I'm thinking of portraying some vulnerability by sending "I think I have a crush on _her name_"

I just don't know about this one. Im thinking about this way too much. If anyone approves or has a better idea, let me know

Ok, you are over confident, you probably can open very well but saying something is a HUGE ASSHOLE move sorry to say, but i dont think girls are interested in LTR with guys that are overly confident like that, although i have a friend with many friends that are girls and he talks like that...

but i would not recommend it...

I understand the way you're seeing it. Of course I wouldn't send that to a girl I met recently, but I'd send it as a joke to someone I knew fairly well and who would know that im joking.
