Im a cashier currenty, greet alot of ppl. this lady came up and we greeted each other, BUT i noticed she seemed to like some guy in the line behind her(she looked about 2 times back). We had not said much but eventually this dude was moved to another line ahead of mine. I know who he is, a regular customer.

Here's the twister, I tell him " hey I noticed they moved you there lol" the HB8 noticed our convo since she was right in front of me. right after i got done with that, i was scanning some of her yogurts and she randomly says "have you tried those before" smiles* and I basically gamed her there no # tho since I dont wanna get fired.

My question. Im not sure what she was going for lol. maybe both of us caught her attention. HB8 IMO

any ideas of what occured here greatly appreciated.

Social Proof Basicly She is attracted to a guy (she considers him high value) you and him joke around, some of his presumed value has rubbed off on your... increasing your percieved social value...
