Wow.I thought this pick up thing was going to be easy,but I am starting to realize how much work is invovled.The good thing is I am making a conscience effort to overcome any obstacle that I may encounter. I first started with the idea of developing my current game of going to the bars or where ever and strolling around aimlesly waiting for a chick to approach ,and pretty much spell out for me that she will fuck me tonight.Some will not believe me,but I have had some extremly random and exciting escapades happen out of the blue,but these happenings are not consistent nor even forfulling.This post is a field report of sorts.Since, I have started reading about the game I have been going to the clubs,mostly solo,but to be honest,I have not had any notable sucesses.I do get the occassional eye contact and even brief interactions,but the fact that I am alone,makes it very hard to enjoy myself,and I feel that after circling the bar several times,I have blown all social proof,but I don't know how to effectivly open sets.The first books I read about the game were "the game,and "the mystery method"but then I switched to the thinking that inner game was where it is at.I have come to the realization that indirect openers are part of natural game if you create your own openers.Telling someone not to use indirect openers would be like telling a car salesman to just be himself and not to employ any proven sales tactics.From my observations at the clubs,looks are not the deal sealer.Yeah good looks help,and being well groomed and well dressed are necessary,but it doesn't set you apart.The majority of the people in the club are dressed to impress.I am not sure where I am trying to go with this post.I have been reading on this forum and have seen that although I am not having the magnificant results that the marketer's have promised,and just because I read a book or watch a dvd,then go to the club,that all of the sudden I am not at ease and knowledgable of how to handle all social settings. One thing I now am aware of is that nothing I have encountered is limited to just me,and it is not because I am weird or a social misfit, it is just the way the game is designed,And make no mistake,this definetly is a game,I repeat,THIS DEFINETLY IS A GAME!!Girls spend hours in the mirror or doing whatever it is they do to get ready,they get a bunch of thier girls together,and then to walk around the club trying to look sexy,but uninviting at the same time.Many of times have I seen girls who I saw at the beggining of the night who looked like they were unobtanable,possibly lesbians and generally uninterested in the male race,making out with some dude in a corner,I used to attibute it to alcohol,but now I am starting to see that it is the game.Girls want to be picked up,hit on and seduced.I am not trying to give advice,because I am just a beginner and I will leave that to the pua's.I am just trying to develope my skills and knowledge,as well as making some friends with likeminded individuals.I am glad you are all here,and hopefully we can help each other get what is ALREADY OURS!!
