Fuck Ivy. It's too crowded and not to mention, overrated.

Ivy is one of the best clubs in the city. Whenever I have gone there, I have had multiple success, the people have been amazing and the vibe of the whole place has been fun, out there and cocky.

My wings and I are heading there this saturday and would love to meetup with people from this forum.

We normally announce our movements on www.departmentofhigherliving.com

Hope to see you there.

Cheers,
Seven

I agree with the department.

While I also agree its probably a bit of an older venue for your 18 yr olds...

im 23 and it can even be a little old for me

I highly recommend it on Thursday nites for those of you that are too old or too banned for life (like me) from the greenwood :P

Thursday is just busy enough but you can still move. there are lots of sets all standing around and its not to loud to talk.

Friday is shit until 11/12ish but its usually difficult to get in then. you gotta go early hand hang around with all the old douches from after work until they have to go home to their kids...

never been on a saturday because I usually think there are better places...

but yeh, if im sarging on a thursday nite, ivy is my place of choice at the moment.

Im 23 i had a stage where i was going to the ivy every saturday..

I did feel a bit young.. i was with a group of good looking girls around the same age.. and i was seeing one of them who is very good looking..

i dont know if it was the fact i was with these girls.. but i each night i was approached by at least 2 females.. even a few older ones..

i even had 2 girls obviously brushing against me while i was hand in hand with a girl making sure she saw it

i found the trick there is that everyone at the ivy thinks they are above everyone else.. if u portray yourself in a way where u dont act like ur too good for every1 u will get attention.. a few smiles goes a long way in that place..

Ivy is a place for people who want to be someone. People who are someone, don't waste thier time at Ivy (without booking the whole place out).

The Ivy is a really pretentious club and a lot of the female clientele are extremely snobby and out to prove something. A lot of them dress up very skanky and act like they are the shit when they aren't. I think it's a beautiful venue in the way of interior design but the clientele are a bit too snobby for my liking. If you are going to sarge there, make sure you have a thick skin and your material is tight as because you will get shut down by a hardcore bitch shield left, right and centre. Good luck!

Ivy = great for challenging yourself however keeping in mind the type of girls they breed are stuck up and superficial. So it all goes back to what your looking for.
