hanging outt before you tell her you have other plans? say i talked to her on tuesday, and we were gonna hang out on sunday, but she needed to let me know, when's the last day you guys would tolerate her letting you know before telling her you made other plans? it's already Thursday and I've heard no word. when I asked her on Tuesday, she said she'd have to let me know about Sunday, but that she was free today (Tuesday). I wasn't free, but I said let me know about Sunday.

Anyway, help on this is appreciated, as always.

I would say probably Friday. It is the first day of the weekend, but only 3 days since you spoke to her last and 2 days before the actual date. If a girl really likes a guy, she will want to write back to his messages and answer his telephone calls straight away! However, society dictates that this kind of behaviour portrays a desperate and "easy" woman. We don't like to feel that way and we definitely do not want the man we want to feel this is our main charecteristic - neediness and clingyness because we all know that this is one of the most unattrative behavioural traits in human beings.

Good reply. I would say fri too, also because you don't want to look like YOU have nothing else to do besides wait around for her. I fyou hear from her sat, or sun, even if you don't, I'd tell her that you'd already made other plans since you didn't hear from her.

Also, think of it like this: I think that even though there are alot of differences, men and women still do think and act the same way alot of the times.

I know when a girl asks me during the week if I want to do soemthing o nthe weekend, if I'm onto her I'll say yes right away, unless I legitimatey aren't sure if I'm free.

If I'm not that into her, I'll tell her I have to let her know, since I'm not really sure I want to spend the time with her and there's a possibility somehting better might come up.

Sounds bad, but on this one, I'm sure men and women do the EXACT same thing.

Like the last first date I went on...I was actually into the girl, and at the end told her it was fun and we ought to get together again. She said "sure".

I know that "sure", in that tone of voice. It's what I say when I'm really thinking "yeah, probably not". Sure enough, she got slower at responding to my texts, and never returned my last phone call.

Just to give you an update, I ended up texting her on Friday with "so shall i make other plans?" and she called and confirmed for today. this is an ex-gf so though I know I should treat her like I'm courting a new girl, sometimes I have to interpret things differently because I know her really well.
