When I'm not out whoring I've been hanging out with a friend of mine who is a single mom. We have sort of just been hanging out as friends and both enjoy the company of another adult (I live alone and she lives with a toddler). The other day a mutal friend came over and I was leaving to meet some other friends, we went to say goodbye and did a totally couple like thing whilst we did. It hit me when I jumped on the train how it would have looked to our friend like we were dating. But to be honest I had been thinking for a while that it wouldn't be the most terrible thing if we were, but there is a kid involved and as much of a man of loose morals I am, I couldn't risk having a child hurt due to my actions.
Has anyone dated a young single mum before? How does it feel to be in the situation especially when the father is still very much active in the childs life.

Almost all of my ex girlfriends have had kids, its never been a problem for me, i kind of like playing the daddy role for a while. But for you surely its easier to have the dad still involved with the kids? They have the dad so they arnt gonna want or expect anything from you other than to give their mother a good seeing to. Go for it man.

go for it. i told the girl i was with that i wasnt here for her kid and never slept over cause she would have to get up early to take care of it. she wasnt happy but im not its dad. i agree on the best sex ever. if you fall for her the kid wont even bug you anymore just gotta pop your milf cherry.

I've stayed over already, I don't mind it at all, we hung out with her kid and her niece one day watching kids tv. Kids tv is awesome, it's like being on mushrooms only you can stop it anytime you like. We're off out on a proper date later this week, it's strange how the dating thing is new to me, I'm used to just meeting women in bars and never seeing them again. Maybe I'm growing up.

I just came out of a relationship with a single mom. She dumped me because I 'm too much of nice guy. Not the point here. I just wanted to say it was the best time of my life! I have no regrets! I would go for it if I were you!!

Went out last night, had an excellent meal, went to a pub for a few drinks, went clubbing. She kissed me, then cooked me breakfast in the morning.
Was quite an awesome night.

Its something i read in a self help book which basically said---when you meet someone if there is a single thing you don't like about the person--drop em no matter how attached emotionally you think you are--you will find someone-else more suitable.--dont hang around hoping to change them or wait for them to change.the single mom thing,i tried it once,is usually just a disaster,along with ''my ex blaa blaa'',or ''i need time to get over a bad relationship'' ''im trying to find myself'' ''I recently escaped from a mental hospital and im trying to get my life back on track''

yeah and the really bad part is that generally bitter guy is with someonelse now and doesnt want to be with single mom himself, but he doesnt want anyonelse to be with her because he regards her as his property.

Ah well, I'll just have to impregnate her myself then thus marking my teritory. That or just not be bothered by it, every girl I have dated has had baggage, it's not a new thing and I don't know of any without some, this baggage I can deal with and it is actually quite mild compared to others.
