The last two times I've filled up with gas I've been opened by milfs/cougars. I drive a 1973 Datsun 240Z, (The first generation of the Nissan 370Z). The 40-50 Year olds love it.

The first time I was opened we where both filling up. She simply said "what year is it". I made small talk about the car, "she said her boyfriend in university had once. Once we where done filling the conversation ended and we went are sperate ways.

The second time I was opened by a older attractive women, with a HB8 daughter. I chatted with the mother about the car but was never able to turn the conversation off the car and into something else.

I get about once every day I drive it around. I'm just wondering how I move from talking about the car to talking about anything else. I'm just looking to improve my social interaction and learn to steer conversations the way I want them.

I suck at closing also, but try using bits of cocky+ funny in your conversations. use your personality more and extend your conversation length 10 - 15 minutes and try number closing "Hey listen, I gotta run, but it was great having the converstation with you. we should talk more sometime...." then if they get a clue if you hold out your phone, they may give you a number without having to ask, or just say..."ill add you to my contact list."

saying "ill add you to my contact list." also DHV btw stating that your higher statues and have lots of other people to talk to if not you.

The issue I'm having in this case is that I'm not able to transition from the opening to mid game or some sort of routine or new thread.

I was discussing it with an friend of mine today and what I realized is the women opening me sees my car as part of her past. She want to talk about the car and her past relating to the car.

The easiest way for me to transition would be asking more about her youth and who she knew who owned one. Maybe playfully tease her about being a trouble maker when she was young.
