OK, so im still new to this so go easy on me. I have only just recently been getting into the art of the PUA.

I was just out to grab some Havaianas (flip flops) with a mate of mine and wasnt really out looking to try any Game at all.

So i walk into a local surf shop and see a petite HB about an 8. So I figure fuck it lets see if this stuff works.

I walk up and ask her if she can reccommend some good flip flops. I just kept smiling and keeping eye contact and pretended like i had never even worn a pair before.

She was talking about how its all she wear all year long so i negged her and said " Ohh ok that explains your dirty little feet." Which i wasn't sure would go down so well but she just laughed and punched me lightly. I also negged her a little about not being able to help me find what i was after, which she laughed about.

I ended up just getting a new hat for work and while paying she asked how old we were. We told here, then she says " so how old do you think i am ?" . I Wasnt sure if i should neg her again but i did anyway and said " Well you are kinda cute but im gunna have to say 15." Even though she looked around 19 -21. She just laughed again and started joking about how old I look.

This is where i got stuck though, she seemed pretty into me and alot of eye contact, I had her laughing alot and even a little kino but I just didnt know where to go from there.

So unfortunantly after all that when I had payed, it just went silent and a little awkward because i didnt know if i should go for the number or how to even go about it. So i just said goodbye and left it at that.

So now I know for sure that it works!

Not bad. It sounds like you weren't using canned material which is always a plus in my book. Its easy to look back and pick apart what you could have done differently but I think you did well enough to just limit it building more attraction and #closing.

Assuming you had enough attraction, you should probably just be direct. Bust the phone out, say something c&f about wanting to contact her i.e. "I never know when I'll need a flip flop saleswoman", or whatever, just do it in stride. Then after you got the #, just be like "maybe I'll surprise you soon" and then say your goodbyes. Again, its easy to do all of this in hindsight but if you want results, its all about knowing when to switch gears.

If I were you, I would go in next Friday or whenever you get paid, or the same day you went in a week before, and just go shopping again. The chances of someone approaching her at her job between then & now is slim, and who the fuck cares anyway? Wouldn't you like having someone come back to your shitty place of employment just to hit on you?

One thing to remember is, girls expect guys to make the moves (unless you played your cards flawlessly). Women don't have balls. Its your job, its not weird or awkward, they're waiting for it - so go to work!

#Close would have been the appropriate action here. It sucks that doing this seems so hard in our minds, when in reality its as easy as saying:

Hey, you seem pretty cool. We should talk again/hang out some time/etc? Take out your phone and give it to her.

At more advanced levels of game, you would be looking to set up your day2 now; but based on your level of interaction with her, just a simple #close would have worked.

Let me know how that works out for you. Also if you get into convo, try to talk about her job i.e. part time? -> school? -> personal life? -> goals?, and use that to screen/false DQ/story tell, then the close should be easier as its not just some guy buying flip flops again, its a person with depth and higher value.
