placed in highschool, i was standing alone near a food stand in the middle of the cafeteria, and these two girls are walking towards the food stand, so before they totally get there i walk over and start 'looking at the options' and they get near and the HB7's friend walks past me and is getting something and I look at the HB who was slowly moving in my direction, I ask her with a smile, "are you friendly?", she says,"i guess" with a negative tone while she is taking a cross-step to start walking away from me and to her friend, it was obvious she didn't want anything to do with me so i told her to have a good day and left. how could I have opened this better? or is she just a bitch?

It just depends on what your social status is and what her social status is... are you popular? a jock? a brain? and the same for her...

If she's in the popular circle, you have to be popular also. OR you have to SHOW her that you can hang and belong to her circle.

But if you are in the same social circle, you need to work on that opening line... Popular high school girls tend to be more superficial... comment on her dress, jeans, shirt, bag, backpack, whatever...

You needed more of a lead in. You are several steps down from her in social status, but I was mostly a "nomad" I guess you could say, when I was in HS and I still talked with lots of hot popular girls (never went anywhere with it, because it was years before I knew how to handle girls properly). In order to make them comfortable being around someone that might be damaging to their status, you need to say something to engage them, not just ask them a question with such an easy answer and that came out of nowhere.

yeah that's for sure, i had to tell a similar girl that i take shots during class for her to want to talk to me, she's definitley interested, but not when she's around her friends. i'll throw her friends some good vibes in the near future.
