How can you tell if a waitress genuinely likes you? I went to a restaurant with my friends on Thursday and our waitress kept flirting with me. I couldnt tell if she was genuinely interested or if she was just doing her job to get a better tip. Here are the facts:

1. Trendiest restaurant in town.
2. Hot waitresses at this restaurant.
3. She complimented me on my eyes.
4. I told her she looked like someone who completes in the Miss USA pageant.
5. She started blushing and said "Why Sir, are you hitting on me?" in a made up southern accent.
6. I said, "yes, but dont get too excited because you dont look like Miss USA, just someone who can compete for that title"
7. She started laughing and dropped the stuff she was carrying. She was surprised with my neg and playfully punched me a couple times.
8. She had 6 tables in her section, but spent a lot of time at our table. She would come hang out with us for 5-10 minutes at a time.
9. Whenever she was walking by she was making eye contact and smiling.
10. Some random waitress came over and asked us for our names.
11. At the end, our waitress was trying to figure out how to say my name by reading my card, she said out loud, how will I ever remember your name?
12. then, she asked me to come back and see her. When she walked away, she kept looking back and smiling.

So, what do you guys think? Are these IOI's? I wanna go back and see her. What should I do when I go back into that restaurant? Any advice is appreciated and thank you in advance.

Ok, you have a fair few ioi's their, the most promising is the playfully punching you when a girl does that it is decently on, you should have number closed her there and then.

As you didn’t number close her there and then you have a couple of ways, you either go back to the restaurant or another option is you could phone the restaurant, ask if your friend "Example" is there, if not ask them if they can take a message, say something that she will instantly twig but who ever their wont, leave you number, if she phones it’s still on, if she doesn’t well you either give up or turn up at the restaurant and try and rebuild the stages.

Not to be rude, but if you don't know that those are major IOIs, you need to be banned from the internet lol. IMO those are HEAVY HEAVY IOIs. To get a better tip, she would talk a little, see if you wanted more service, etc etc. But with her flirting back with the southern accent, her friend asking for your names, etc etc....IT'S ON!

Get her number, seduce the hell out of her and just think "Brawndo is the man, Brawndo is the man" as you're bangin her and the other waitress in a 3some.

I bartended for 5 years, and I say those are strong IOI's. Servers dont typically flirt outrageously, cocktail waitresses and bartenders do.

Anyway, have you heard of the name challenge, where you challenge a girl/group of girls in a bar to remember your name? I cannot remember where I read it, and didnt make it up myself. It may have worked well for you.

in your instance, you could have told her that you have a game to play. That the next time you see her, if you remember her name but she doesnt remember yours (or vice versa) that the forgetful person has to buy the other a drink (in this case after her shift- this works better when drinks are available instantly). They'll almost always remember your name, and on top of that, they are extremely excited to see you because they know they will be rewarded (in more than one way).

I love this routine, and it generally promotes good social value because the girl/s will generally run up to you screaming your name (and happy about getting a shot/drink), making others wonder what is so fun/special about you.

Your waitress would have remembered you, especially if you found out what bar she was going to afterward (which, surprise! Is the same one your group was planning on going to also).

When she did that you should've had said "That's actually the easiest part." and picked up a paper and wrote down your name and # number. Then give a paper to her and the pen so she would write her name and her # number. DONE!
