A few years back before PU, i did a lot of myspace gaming. I'd send generic messages to several guys a day, trying to date close them and get them to hangout.

Today at my work (grocery store) this guy comes up to me and says "I know you" ...I told him maybe because I shopped at the grocery store. He says "Are u ******* ******?" I sad yes and he said You messaged me on myspace a few years back and sent me a friends request...

Now I dont remember guys I gamed a few years back. What should I respond when he talks to me about my facebook or myspace? I feel somewhat embarassed since i have provocative partyting pics up there and I DONT REMEMBER WHAT I SAID TO HIM!!!!! Plus I work with him and I dont want to ruin my innocent good girl reputation

You work with him, but he recognized you through myspace? I doubt you have to worry about your reputation. Reputation is really just a male invention to restrict women from being sexually liberated anyway. It shows strong interest that he remembered you from years back. That's kind of ridiculous. But you know what, he blew his chance by not manning up back then. It's especially pathetic if a guy can't respond online. You don't have to do anything. If you're feeling it, you can send him another message with your number, but then you need to LIG.

Definitely doesn't necessarily show a strong interest. I remember pretty much everyone I have ever met. Some people just have the memory for those sorts of things.

Also, she could have some some retarded thing to him and he could have just shrugged it off. You can't make these judgement calls without knowing the facts.

Man, way to try to punch a hole in something I said and offer nothing useful in exchange. Way to be a complete negative Nancy. Well DR. BEAT, do you remember every friend request on myspace someone has made to you? If it was memorably weird/horrifying, would you accost that person in a grocery store and remind them in an attempt to relive that awkwardness? Probably not. People avoid awkwardness and pain at all costs. The guy was definitely setting up an opportunity here. Furthermore, it's a good rule of thumb to always assume the best case scenario in interactions with the opposite sex. Thinking, "Oh, that person only remembers me because I'm the ugliest person they ever met," or other similar negative garbage is a great way to poison the interaction with your own insecurity.

I was only saying the other side of what you were saying. Realistically, you have to cover all the options. You also have to do that without caring.

If I were in Brunette's position, I wouldn't care if he remembered me. I'd probably say something like "Oh god, what did I say?" I'd genuinely want to know.

Nah, you actually don't have to cover every angle; that's a really common misperception here. You'll be happier just focusing on the positive because at the end of the day you can never KNOW what someone else really thinks. It's more encouraging for your game that way, too.

Good point. Have you ever heard of the law of attraction? It's the idea that focusing on a goal in a positive light will eventually lead you there. The idea of a completely positive outlook in pick-up seems to follow-suit.

Yeah, I think basically every popular self-help book points in that direction, too. I totally subscribe to it and even if it doesn't change your results, as long as you believe it does, it's good for your mental health.
