Ok I have been in the online gaming+ meetup scene for a while now and I don't mean to brag but I get any girl's number in 10-20 minutes.

I was thinking maybe we should take everyone's best ideas and put it into an online ebook and then make it freely available.

care to share on how you manage the replys and what approachs you go for abdul? i tend to struggle with follow up game abit...

Well online is all about speed because you don;t know how much time she's got so I usually get the number in the first interaction. I achieve this by having a fun conversation and genuinely getting to know her and the main motto is "Have fun and she will to". At the end of the fun conversation I just say "You seem cool well we should carry this convo on later " Then you ask for the number.

Approach with "Hello heard some stuff about you". This will get her curious and then it's game on. From there you can pretty much handle it the way you want.


Online there's not much time for dhv stories and all that so keep it simple.

Actually saying you heard stuff about her is good, because girls are paranoid and always wonder, so it gets a reply a lot of the time, next step is building/stacking on the reply.

what are some bs things you can say about her that you heard.. that spike her interest... when you use that line..?

i mean, do you just go straight into a neg or something after she said.. "what did you hear?!?"

I tried it last night, and turned it into a joke, I said, "I hear alot about you women"

Like my real world game I am also direct when it comes to online game. I read their profile and look at their pictures and then come up with an opener on the spot. I try my best not to resort to my "canned" lines, but I do have some reserved lines I use if a profile falls into a certain area.

cheers for advice abdul. i kept the the convo short, but made it funny as possible. a wacky subject heading worked really well for me too, i used "harry potter for pc" the first thing that popped into my head. it was a good convo starter and im pretty sure she hadent seen that one before, after 3/4 messages i was quite direct, although i had to ask for the number she was quite willing to give it me! spot on!

I find the "i don't know, you women are predators" type conversation (originally from style i think?) works REALLY well online, because it is a complete role reversal to the reality of online dating (it really is predatory from a male perspective)

it comes across fun, funny, and shows that your sympathetic to the fears she may have about meeting up in person. i RARELY get turned down for a number if i use it, and of the numbers i get using it, i've never had a flake.
