Let me know if you think this was a good idea, and please give me your feedback.

I went to the mall with a friend and we saw 2 girls at the food court. It was about 2:30 in the afternoon so it wasn't too busy. We walked up and just sat at their table and said, "Hey, we are sitting here. We couldn't find any other seats.". This was obviously a lie because there were plenty of seats around.

They did end up talking to us, but never really seemed interested in anything we had to say, so it was a failed set, but I think it just failed because of my lack of game after the opener.

So my question is obviously, how was the opener?

Thats hilarious but you gotta say it the right way. Like somehow indicate that youre being sarcastic but make sure the delivery is very dry..

I can see this working. Definitely don't be serious about it because you are obviously lying. Be playful with your conversations and feed off of your surroundings for things to talk about.

you can even break the ice without saying a word. just sit there without asking permission, make eye contact, look at her lips (with a facial expression-wrinkled eyebrow and shaking your head a little bit) then touch one side of your lips lightly as if signaling her there's something on her lips (ketchup, mayo, ice cream or whatever) by instinct she follows, then touch your forehead or ears, this time she don't follow but burst in laughter or she might hit you on shoulder. i do this a lot in ice cream parlor, resto, fastfood etc... it works!!!
goodluck to your game

Thats really smart. Should you be with a friend or does it work when you are also alone ?
