A lot of these aren't DHVs in and of themselves, they're references to things that may be DHVs and may be DLVs. For example:

This is from a Shirley Temple movie. If someone recognized it and posted a comment on your status along the lines of:

"You know how I know you're gay? You quote Shirley Temple movies in your status."

It could seriously backfire.

If someone does that, just win the AMOG battle. Girls probs wouldn't post that, but if they did, you can always delete comments on your own status.

Tried out the "thinks brunettes do it better" one at about 7pm on a Friday night.

In 1 hour I'd received 10 likes and 5 comments. Unfortunately most of the attention was from HB6's and guys that were affirming the comment. There wasn't any attention from HB8-9 but was definitely a great way to get people to notice you.

A few people have been posting comments related to what time of the day is most likely people are going to be on. I would definitely say without a doubt Sunday evening around 7-10pm is when facebook is being used the most.

I never thought of Facebook updates to be effective when it comes to AMOGing and DHVing. Fortunately as of lately using these quotes has definitely improved the traffic on my profile. HBs notice my page more and tend to comment more, and so on. Some success has came from:


(I have a total of 380+friends, so not much happens with me over Facebook)
"likes big butts and he cannot lie" (4likes, 1comment)
"has had enough of girls that are only beautiful on the outside." (6likes, 1comment)
"is wondering if he can bring Sexy back without a receipt?" (4likes, 6comments)

This quote has received the most feedback thus far from people and HB6-8
"thinks brunettes do it better!" (15likes, 7comments)

Last night, I experimented with this simple phrase:

"Talk to a stranger"

Within 10 minutes, I had 32 comments with friends from different circles just talking to eachother, asking how they knew me, and in the end, THEY started to DHV for me.

"Doesn't ~Dare~ look pimp in his profile pic?"
"Yeah, he's the number 1 bachelor at (my university)"

Hope it works as well for you guys at it did for me.

Result: After 5 minutes, got 5 likes, three of those from HB7+, works like a charm!
