I then replied with "You can't be all work and no play, you need balance!".

She didn't reply to that, then idled for a few minutes before logging off.

If anything, I want to give you perspective.

I've known this girl for a few weeks now. I met her through mutual friends. We've been talking over facebook for a while now. About half the time she'll initiate the chats or write on my wall. I haven't been able to set up a Day 2 because we are both busy with exams.

A few weeks ago she cancelled other plans, so she could come to a party I invited her and two of her friends to. In person she seems to be really attracted to me, but when it comes to text it just feels laboured.
Like I said, we're both busy with exams at the moment. So by that I meant she should take a break from the studying and do something fun...

I have heard that she's really popular and tends to be very picky about the guys she likes. Some people have also told me that she's never made out with a guy before.

As to why she gave me a mean response? Well from what I hear she's used to guys chasing after her and supplicating to her every wish. I don't do that, so maybe this is her reaction to it?
