Ok, so this may be a long story but bare with me. I have female uni mates, which leads too other females friends. So today as it was last exams I went n met a friend, who was with her friends off her course. There was this HB 9 (in my opinion) there and I was thinking right, get into the game. So I gave her the least attention, caught her looking at me afew times which I understand is a big indication.

Anyway a group of us hit a bar and I started talking to he about general stuff. I thought this girl I wouldn't mind actually dating instead of just a quick lay. Found out she's moving back home to London tomorrow for her placement and isn't really coming back so I thought well... Fuckit. Nothing will come of it. Anyway she would come sit by me out of the blue, and ask me if I was going to a seperate bar than what the crowd was going to. However another alpha male turned up and he got involved talking to her, which then I instantly thought, well fuckit, I'm not playing second best as she seemed to give him the same attension at certain points.

At the final bar I sat away from her and was talking and having fun with my other female friends and she was sat afar, when I went to the toilet I asked if she was ok, and she looked at me n kinda felt my hand (Which is a big indication) but I carried on and went to the toilet, then after that I kinda lost focus because I couldn't help think I was competing with this other guy, even though he wasn't actually trying, but she gave us both attention at certain points.

So my question is, when the girl shows interest in another male, do you guys continue the fight or just fuck her off? Because I kinda thought fuckit, I'm not going to continue if she is giving this other guy as much attention as me.

But I will admit, I played some pretty wicked game lol, I just dunno if I let myself down by submitting.

Any advice would be appreciated, as this is my weakest point with women.

If you want her, than interest in another guy is absolutely no reason to give her up. In your situation, it sounded like he wasn't actually trying to steal her away or mess you up, so it's not like you even needed to worry about AMOGing or anything.

In fact, buddying up with him and getting him to give you social proof will probably only help your case. And if for some reason he decided tried to give you shit, you can use that to your advantage as well.

Remember, you're always technically competing against every other guy in the club. Not always in an obvious confrontational way, but simply because every one of them has the potential to be her focus instead of you. It's your job to manage this, and the fact that he's beside her instead of across the bar should make no difference.

Makes sense. I think I shot myself down for some reason, after all that work haha. Will deffo learn from the mistake.
